That's not the only reason, even they understand about bitcoin, most of them aren't interested at all Sad
I tried to explain bitcoin to my friend and he understood, but he wasn't interested till i say bitcoin is a away to earn extra pocket money.

In short, teenagers (and most people) don't care much about something unless it could bring profit/advantage Roll Eyes

You are right dear! Same thing happening with me. But I think when kids will get to know the value of money at that time it will better to make them understand about BTC

Well it's a digital money which is mined and stored in computer. Here mining is similar to mining gold from gold mine because we have to dig and find bitcoin. It is not printed like paper currency but it is just stored as number in computer that's it.

I am a teenager when i first do know bitcoin. No one did explain it to me i was just to curious because i only saw it and now i am starting to build my way up.

Lessoned: There is no specific need for us to teach children or teenager what bitcoin really is, it is all about to them, it is all about exploration and the willingness to learn because no matter how hard we do explain it to them if they show no interest it would be just useless.
Correct explaining to them is very easy the hard things is to get their interest to used bitcoin but if they are not willing to used it you can not please or force them to used it. There is a lot of attitude of each person and for you mate it is good that you show your interest in bitcoin that is your advantage to them.

I was trying to explore new things on the internet and one of this are searching for some works and gain some penny but i was in debt curiosity about this technology that made me more interested to it. That is why i just love to let them experience bitcoin rather than explaining it to them and I'm pretty sure that they would find it much cooler.

It trully is a waste of time. They will never understand it. Kids and teenagers don't want to hear about how a currency works or any of the details, they will find it boring, they can't be bothered, most adults can't, let alone kids and teens, let's just focus on making bitcoin work as expected by casual people.
But if you leave the teenagers and kids from focusing on improving bitcoin how do you carry the young ones along ? You can't be doing that without the involvement of young people because they are the ones to replace you tomorrow. For sure, a way to put them through must be created to solve any possible future challenges so that we could have better system for bitcoins.

In the contrary, we should invest time to teach them this amazing technology. The children are the one who will replace us and use it in the future.

Mostly, lot of them will learn it by themselves, but we need to educate them and give financial literacy, so they will make better financial decision.

Bitcoin isn't useful to kids, it's more like an international currency so where they will spend/earn coins?

But for sure they can create something new with blockchain.

Bitcoin is difficult to explain. I also felt difficulties in understanding bitcoin for the firs time. Let's share how to explain bitcoin to children of teenagers. In My country I can say 98% children don't know bitcoin. In fact, bitcoin can be future money. If the children not familiar with cryptocurrency or bitcoin, how can they face the digital era in the future.
A children know where on that there are paper money except for real world and digital still including cryptocurrency. Of course if you ask, you can learn, but it does not apply to children. Young people may be interested only with the filing of their parents or other adults.

I think children much prefer to have centralized currency(fiat) than decentralized currency(bitcoin) because children is much love to spend daily for their own foods and wants while in bitcoin this can be used it in online which children not like to wait for their wants to received they want instantly.

Children will not understand bitcoin because it's not taught in the school. And the government has no interest of making bitcoin as a legal currency due to the system that they cannot control, they can make on their own but we are still here to support bitcoin.

I don't think so.
In fact, I really think that teenagers or children can understand Bitcoin much better than older generation.
They are born in digital age, with Internet and they are very open for the new technologies, ideas and projects.
Also, they learn much faster than elderly people and I really don't think they will need much explanation about Bitcoin.
As soon as they see benefits of Bitcoin, they will adapt it.
I don't worry about this point at all.

Agree, but it depend on their IQ and learning capability as we know in their age what matter is to play and not really thinking about money. I think explain all of bitcoin world to teenagers easier than telling children due to their maturity of thought and be ready to answer plenty of questions about bitcoin to them. I will start to explain about money, currencies and how bitcoin include into it.

i am currently 18 and i started using bitcoin at the age of 14-15years that time i was just getting to understand it clearly and it take some really big time to get a clear idea on this. but i finally did got it and earning my pocket money from it.i am not greedy but i like learning new things
You are right I am also around that age, I have explained bitcoins to almost all of my friends and they all love it, I am though a bit unhappy as some of my friends have become addictive gamblers because of me. But anyways they are earning and hence spending so not a big issue.

Most of the children right now are very techy. It is now easier to explain to them that bitcoin can be use in purchasing their game credits like on mol points or steam wallet which is a good thing in letting them know what bitcoin really was , rather than explaining to them hardly and expecting  them to understand.

Explaining to children and teenagers should be as accurate as possible,it's better that an authority should explain all of this, the best way to do this is to give them links and show them youtube videos that can further explain what bitcoin is.

just set up a bitcoin wallet for them and then give them some bitcoin so that they can spend it and learn more about it if you are so eager to teach bitcoin to them.

Shake it baby!

How about games? They love games in this generation. Online games that are accepting bitcoin or steam which they can convert bitcoin into points that can make their game easier when they buy premium items from the game.

Well I think teens or children doesn't really need to know that much about bitcoin, you can just tell them that bitcoin is a Cryptocurrency and that's it! if they would question you if what is cryptocurrency then I think explain to them how real money works and I think that would be your base for cryptocurrency, and when they turn older enough they I think that would be the time they can fully understand about it!

I would say we should even not tell them if something like bitcoin exists, because it is not really easy to understand the technology of bitcoin and it will just make them confused, better let them grow older and then they would themselves come to know about it or you should tell them about it later on.
It is rather better to introduce bitcoins like a asset or say gold. We tell them and show them the charts where the price of bitcoins be seen, so they will know the worth of bitcoins and see from where it has grown.
While we actually also need teenagers in this community because they are the energetic ones who keep it alive.
