I don't like when honesty is used as a shield to say whatever comes to our mind. I maybe got your point but next time try to be less brutal.

Personally I like truth vs tail tucking to save face.   This is all true.    The swap so far is botched.  I cannot move my investment to safety.  I was made to feel stupid by asking when the Weaver or bittrex market is opened.  The marketing team here seems to be not working on anything.   There is no slack group.  Why IRC is being used is beyond me as we live in the age of technology.  Slack is superior.   Perhaps the comments were harsh but they are real. 
 
    I've been reading the previous thread and seems any questions not pursuant to the status quo were bashed.  This  is making me feel nervous about my investment. 

   I don't think being a kitten in the den of the lion is appropriate.  I look forward to the Weaver launch today so I can be certain my funds are secure and liquid.  I cannot currently figure out the silkcoin wallet so I hope the security breach at the Weaver is rectified so it can be launched.   I have sent tickets to both bittrex and poloniex so far with no response.  It seems this project is not of great concern to either exchange which also makes me nervous.

There is a slack, but you can join IRC here: http://webchat.freenode.net/?channels=#silknetwork it takes like 10 seconds to put up your nick and accept the captcha, dont really understand how this can be a huge problem.

Just because the marketing team haven't said anything here yet it doesn't necessarily mean nothing is being worked on. That is just assuming without actually take the time and join the IRC and ask, although it is a good question because most of us most likely want to know.

Obviously Poloniex dont care about the coin since they have delisted it, the reason for Bittrex closing their deposit is stated back a few pages in the thread. Regarding the wallet problem, I suggest you join IRC and ask there and see if someone can help you. I honestly don't know why you get that error, Im running my wallet (and many other people do as well) without a problem.
