Today I bought some BTCD and now downloading the wallet and its bootstrap blockchain. Im not sure if I donated my btcd from exchange would it be valid ? That is the reason I have to do the wallet download.
Yes it will be valid as soon as the team develops a way to deposit BTCD through the ICO website. They are working on it. |

A short summary & reminder
BTCD snapshot has not yet happened.
You don't necessarily need to install a local wallet, as we are working on a way to send BTCD to our ICO site.
We are waiting for that feature to finish, and as soon as it finishes we can start a 7 day countdown for the snapshot. After that the elections begin.
P.S. be aware of all the scammers! We won't contact you directly and ask for your BTCD or anything else.

Satinder and ca333 have been working on the one-click install desktop app. I and grewalsartinder are coding an own protocol specification. We will have a alpha "oneclick" GUI ready in 1 or 2 days. working on integrating komodo binaries to the app as well.
The alpha wont have our protocol spec implemented.

The coins are not distributed yet, so you cannot trade them. You can trade BTCD though, and then swap for KMD (when it is possible). |

I think I've staked ~100 BTCD in the last month or so, that's a cool extra 5000 KMD. And the staking will continue for even more by the time we can convert. |

So very soon, you can send BTCD to the ICO site. Once a week passes they snapshot the whole blockchain and record which addresses hold how.many coins. That will allow them to determine what is owed to each address in terms of interest/dividends from SuperDEX, etc. They'll add to the value of your exchange to KMD. So you'll get ~50 KMD for each BTCD PLUS some extra KMD based on your original BTCD holdings. |

When trying to login to my account on the komodo website, the page just sits there.
I enter the username and password, press Sign in but nothing happens.
I've tried different browsers and different computers.
Anyone else encounter this problem?
Yes, others have reported the same problem. Then after some time it usually starts working. We will try to fix this. |
