Sorry for noobie question, but if kmd is based on zCash, why can tx be seen on block explorer? I thought zCash was super anon by default

Iguana will have a lot of potential in the future, remember Hodl or you will miss the train again

The current version is so clunky and non-intuitive...from "Add Coin" to that "+" sign to be able to send.  I just don't get who is designing the interfacw and ergonomics here and what they are thinking.

I had the same question and surprised that transactions and balances can be seen on the blockchain.  It seems much less anonymous than Monero  and not sure about Zcash.

it's a waste of resources to load ALL the assets/chains the wallet will be supporting by default. Add what you need. Sorry but the send button look pretty standard to any other application that "sends" stuff... a paper airplane is what I see..

AFAIK, R* addresses arn't the private ones, zaddresses are and the GUI doesn't show them yet, but they are there and can use them you know  the CLi

An attacker has taken advantage of an exploit and is generating coins. We made a new version that would stop this at 236000 but the attacker ramped things up to levels that will force us to rollback the chain to 235300.

Please do not do any transactions until we get a new version out that solves this.

more details after this attack is over

Exploits have been taken advantage but dev it aware of it . Anytime soon it will be addressed with a solution. Price may affect negatively and holders are advised not to engage any transactions before the fixed has been implemented. Meanwhile, got to get ready for dumps at the exchanges.

Is that the 100k guy? Quick reaction from Bittrex.

ADD:  Can anyone explain to me what is he doing right now? I see he is sending fake coins out hidden, but what's the point? If chain is getting rolled back, it's just a waist of time. Isn't it?

Attacker found a bug, let him keep the coins as a reward. Rollback is last resort,  unless he got 5% of coin supply or more, rollback is far worse outcome.

Remember BTER hack ... no rollback from NXT devs was right decision then, and is right descision for komodo now.

Hacker did a service finding bug ... let him keep the coins, please!

Edit: Komodo classic would be a disaster!

The first block with 100k looks to be 233559
https://kpx.io/blocks/00000001f828f9e031cbe45768f454f93ed6b629ef3809de16f9674be3ab6efa

Checked till 228000 looks clean, if anyone want to continue - be my guest.

There are millions of KMD generated, negotiation is not in question here. Blockchain should be rolled back.
