May I ask why the team hide the name and photos ? it is not good
and why also the Github not active since 3 month ago ?
master branch is not updated so often, all the work happens in the dev branch or spvdex branch and then as it tests out it is merged upwards I have always been anonymous and will stay that way, but the vast majority of the team isnt. there are many video's etc. When we will see another Github update ?

What do you think is holding KMD back from having as big of a market cap as other similar projects like NEO and EOS?
IMHO all this wallet BS is the main thing.......this project launched on 01/09/2016......461 days and virtually every page on this thread has people struggling with wallets. Cheers Jon Agreed that the wallet issues have been a major problem, and it is bewildering why it was considered so low priority and has taken so long to fix. It doesn't matter how hard the dev team works or how great the tech is, if the wallet is literally unusable this is a major and frustrating stumbling point that will turn many people away. Having said that, once the wallet all the other teething issues have been sorted out hopefully the project will really take off and all the fantastic work jl777 and the rest of the team have done on a daily basis will be better recognized and appreciated. On short term the wallet issues are not good for new users. They could get frustrated indeed. But this is new tech and it takes time to develop properly. In the mid-long term this period will be forgotten and you will be happy to joined Komodo! What wallet issues are actually still left?

But I look at it this way...If the entire blockchain industry was easy , the masses would be involved which means the opportunities for massive returns would be in the past. Yes,very frustrating but I will take that over an easy entry point for the masses at this early stage in the technology. Ken

For example 24g does not install on Ubuntu Beside some wallet fixes = some features turned off. Not a perfect way of fixing bugs. Anyway it's just partial problem with gui, partial with way of communication / wallet notifications / announcing new wallets and some comments on what condition they should work.If wallet will communicate on each unsuspected event what is the reason, and will contain some manual page and FAQ then this could help avoid shity questions and saying nothing works. With communication there is also progress,+1 for publishing video tutorials, but good some way to link them inside wallet, or make inside wallets "release comments/usage/working conditions/tutorials). So to sum it up, there are some improvements in wallet, however there are still some fixes to be done (and features to bring back) + communication to polish. I also believe this "around-wallet-communication-notifications" slows adoption and is reflected in market price: normal user simply downloads, installs, if sth does not work intuitively - he just deletes, if all works - buys KMD and sends to his wallet. If anything does not function like it should or is different then in other commonly used wallets (here some "wallet functionality market analysis" needed) - then the wallet/app must communicate it with some notifications for first time users. Of course this is not a must have feature to work, but a must have to get a big adoption. Hope my feedback helps.

So if I understand correctly... NXT, is the asset chain platform on which supernet etc are build. KMD is built on the supernet platform or is that a completely separate chain? I read that the NXT asset chains are being moved to the Barterdex platform. Today NXT is the top gain and top volume token on Bittrex, it might be nice to make a post on the NXT twitter that the chains and thus the NXT asset exchange is being moved to/ exchanged to the Barterdex platform no? ARDR is build on the NXT platform, is ARDR also related to KMD than in a way? Kind of confused atm KMD has nothing to do with NXT or ARDR, dont confuse yourself NXT decided it didnt want any active AE (asset exchange) so they made sure it was not a good place for assets and their wish came true. this is years old. current NXT pump is simply due to ICO mania for IGNIS coin which is the identical function as NXT, just with a 50% tax. When MONA is valued higher than KMD, nothing surprises me Aha, ok! Thought I read somewhere in the previous pages that Unity was related to NXT and UNITY is the new name of Supernet which is the mother company of KMD. My bad!

However, it doesnt seem like there is any specific thing that is severe enough to warrant "the wallet doesnt work at all" It seems we are now in the cleanup error messages, adding tooltips and such things. This is in stark contrast to the posts above that are claiming that the wallet doesnt work at all. That is my point. We have improved the wallet and while there are secondary issues that still remain (and we will address them too), it is not the same category of issues we had several months ago.

I've heard some news about bitcoindark is going to be swapped to komodo or some sort of it related?? Is this true and is it confirmed already? However Im just wondering why is it the price keep gradually getting lower since a week ago? This just doesnt make any sense at all. Komodo is such an underrated coin and have been here quite some time , it should be going up atleast 20 % by now with this news if it is true

we have been swapping BTCD for KMD for almost a year, only one final payout next jan 15th and then there wont be any more conversion of BTCD to KMD. KMD fiat price of around $3 is at the higher end of the price, but it seems the fact we have done over 13,000 atomic swaps http://www.dexstats.info/ and are able to do dPoW secured electrum 0conf swaps, well, it seems to not matter as much as when other projects tweet about how they did one atomic swap in the lab. I claim that we have done more atomic swaps that all others combined. Nobody is refuting this. barterDEX is the only true atomic swap of the actual coins that has an end user GUI that works in unix, osx and windows. barterDEX is the only atomic DEX that can use electrum SPV servers so you dont have to download any blockchain to do atomic swaps. barterDEX is the only one that has automated timelocked deposit secured 0conf trading that is secured by dPoW. But in the past we had wallet problems, so I guess none of this matters.

Team please suggest operating systems with new wallets release -> on which specific linux was tested (possibly a list of OS's). I also tried Ubuntu and didn't even get error message, simply installation not executes. This will save yours and users time for asking/answering questions. I could install different operating system, just good to know on which one linux this should work + if any other special conditions are needed (like if we know what are dependencies needed?)

I understand your frustration and it is the same for me. When you see others cryptos with a huge marketcap and no working product or +50% in one day with no explaination...come on really guys ?! It's make no sense at all... I do believe it will rise up one day, i'm am really behind you and never give up my positions...on the contrary, it's a good way to buy at a low price for me... Don't give up, your turn is coming, maybe KMD is too much advanced for now for others people mind...! KMD forever

Where as people can get technical help on slack,
Might I suggest that komodo platform uses some funds to setup a more official support desk ,
Then all install questions can be routed there.
By this I mean make an interface similar to what users are familiar with. Don't most of the centralized exchanges have nearly the same support interface?
