Summary:

Boolberry is a cryptocurrency that uses the cryptonote protocol. It was released in 2014 fairly before development stopped mid 2015, and in late 2016 the Blockchain Development Company has taken over stewardship of the open source project and will be modernizing Boolberry with the latest cryptonote technology.

Its advantage over AEON, Monero and other cryptonote networks is that it already has a GUI, and has a great pruning algorithm to keep its blockchain smaller and scalable, while maintaining transactional privacy.

Our releases will report to the network as Boolberry v.X.X.X-RUNE, this is parallel and compatible infrastructure to other Boolberry nodes.

At the moment i have no idea who is that person and what he intend to do actually.

I don't see why not remove the 1% fee to the ghost dev then, not doing so would make the community consider you could be the same person or colluding together.

Thats an interesting perspective. Our conclusion was that existing miners can vote to remove the 1% fee already, so there was nothing contentious that we needed to do at this point in time (not that we wanted to, the point is that we don't consider CryptoZoidberg's absence a problem, it is a self inflicted problem of the community that the community can change by voting to remove the 1% subsidy for nothing). Although we will release information on how to do it, as it isn't very user friendly. We weren't actually aware of the 1% tax when we identified Boolberry for stewardship.

The database needs a hard fork, the mixin criteria may need a hard fork, the ringct will need a hard fork, those are things that will possibly be marginally contentious as is. So it would be better if CryptoZoidberg reappeared and collaborated with us, instead of reappearing and wondering where his 1% cash flow went.

The 4GB RAM can be limiting, give it a shot. Download the blockchain from boolberry.com and move it to your client's blockchain.bin location. The download is only a few hundred megabytes, but I've seen boolbd take 3.5gb

The 4GB RAM can be limiting, give it a shot. Download the blockchain from boolberry.com and move it to your client's blockchain.bin location. The download is only a few hundred megabytes, but I've seen boolbd take 3.5gb

I have successfully compiled your branch and syncing takes half day, all working flawlessly including simplewallet. The system become slow because all 4GB RAM eaten up and still need 2GB swap. Looks like I don't need to install more RAM because next updated branch should use much less RAM.

We need to address the exchanges, at least 20% of Boolberry is sitting on the order books at Poloniex. Meaning quite a bit more is stored there. We consider that part of a multi-pronged problem:

I am aware of several BBR holders that own a significant portion of the float and may present delays in the exchange rate rising to respectable heights. I need to make it clear what valuation the Blockchain Development Company sees in Boolberry: a $50,000,000 market cap.

We will be addressing: utility, and scarcity. Right now, Boolberry has neither, and its utility decreases daily as the blockchain grows and sits in RAM, and its scarcity is low because over 20% of the float is sitting on exchange order books in the form of limit orders, partially because prior holders are looking for an exit.

We will be diving more into this with our policy and roadmap document, but I need everyone to understand what we are aiming for here. tl;dr: HODL
