I've just got started with the Zcash miners for Ubuntu & Windows that were released by Nicehash.

You can watch a video I made for each of them and they should be useful for anyone who wants to get started mining Zcash.

How to Mine Zcash on Windows
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=GVNGcF37jM4

How to Mine Zcash on Linux (Ubuntu)
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=EldQk9R6sww

So this only works with Nicehash pools? All Zcash is converted to BTC?

I ll try to test it on my i7 later

This version works with suprnova:

https://github.com/ocminer/nheqminer

No windows version yet, i'm on it
some bat file for this miner?
for suprnova
and where is the wallet download for Windows

Transactions must be included in a block to be properly completed. When you send a transaction, it is broadcast to miners. Miners can then optionally include it in their next blocks. Miners will be more inclined to include your transaction if it has a higher transaction fee.

Not necessarily needed, just run it with -u user.worker

Genesis mining added offers to start mining ZCASH, seem mining companies are interested in this new technology, but when I joined Genesis mining, I found all mining powers have been sold out, is there any other company to start mining this coin , and what is the best method to mine it?

I also missed the first offers to cloud mine ZCash... wanted to be on the train from the start, but seems I'll either have to wait or buy directly on exchange now. I'm curious to see what the price will be at launch.

There is genesis mining, z-mining and zeropond. You can also try to mine it yourself of course.

So how will the launch work?
Can I keep running the miners and they switch from testnet automatically?
Or do I need to recompile them?

You can keep them running as long as you're hashing to https://zec.suprnova.cc - i'll just wipe everything and switch to mainnet when it launches.

Out of curiosity, I dl'd the NiceHash miner and ran a benchmark (75% of cores) on my i7-4790K:

Quote
Equihash CPU Miner for NiceHash v0.1b
Thanks to Zcash developers for providing most of the code
Special thanks to tromp for providing optimized CPU equihash solver

Setting log level to 0
Benchmark starting... this may take several minutes, please wait...
Benchmark done!
Total time : 18778 ms
Total hashes: 100
Total solutions found: 200
Speed: 5.32538 H/s
Speed: 10.6508 S/s

What are any of you getting?

It's a bit variable.. i'm getting 4-5 H/s on my i7 2600 @ 3.4GHz with 8GB of Ram

Edit: Now it's stable, its 4.8 H/s

Thanks, I'd like to find out what the AMD FX Octocore series is getting.  Like a FX-8350 Black Edition or near there.

Starting price will be beyond wildest imagination.

My prediction 0.2 btc to 2 btc on day 1 of the launch.

There has never been a coin with so much hype and so little initial supply.

If you want to try out your CPU's mining you can use this miner:

https://github.com/ocminer/nheqminer

It's also linked at

https://zec.suprnova.cc/index.php?page=gettingstarted

Run with

Code:
nheqminer -l zec.suprnova.cc:2142 -u worker.1 -p x -t 4
