In fact the profit of mining ZEC dropped, so that is a good sign... diff move higher... profit for miners dropping... price should move up
The way its showing right now price really falling and i dont know if my assessment is right to place my entry or wait until it drop again to .25 or lower.

I don't know... it depends if we have a few pumps Wink it can suddenly be 0.50 again like 3 days ago.

ZClassic doesn't have any future... price is dropping and keep on dropping because of the high inflation, no buy support etc.

i'm waiting for the next pump.... in fact I have check the ZEC website and when you check how many people are involved, then this coin should not be trading at $4M but at $40M. The big problem is the inflation, the block rewards are way too high... I hope they will change it, lower it, and say 6 ZEC per block is max. if that happens then you can see a nice pickup in price.

What's the short-term floor?

0.20 - 0.22 and then a few pumps, you know how it goes Smiley But current marketcap still stay low...but a reduce in block rewards would make me really happy Smiley

The block rewards are not going to be reduced. It will increase 2x and 4x until it is 12.5 ZEC per block in December and then supply will keep increasing at this rate as more blocks are mined. So for me, price will follow a downtrend for at least 3 months from now

When Zcash will have windows client?

I'm waiting for that question but why do they delay this window wallet?
or They do not want to develop this wallet?Huh

Devs have already been paid. Why would they do more work for nothing? Maybe if we agree to up the founder fee to 50%?

Ugh...plz read up on this coin before saying crap that's not true.  Angry Dev fee lasts the next 4 years, roughly.  This coin had no giant premine or such.  The fee financing devs lasts the next 4 years, so they get a small amount each block.  So no, they have not been pain even a fraction of what they will (we're still in slow-start mode).

i have made some thoughts about the zcash hashrate :

Today i checked the hashrate of zcash and it is about 9mio khasps or 9,000,000,000 h/s or 9Gh/s.
I wonder how can this be,if my 1060 GTX has around 50h/s according to suprnova.cc
That would mean that the hashrate equals 180,000,000 equals 180mio. Nvidia GTX 1060 graphic cards.

I ask me, if even bitcoin is just used by around 10 Mio. users (very high estimated,https://www.reddit.com/r/Bitcoin/comments/4o3pl2/how_many_people_actually_own_bitcoin/)).
Than i think there are maybe just 100,000 people who use zcash (extremily high estimated)
Than let's say 100% of them would also mine zcash. That would mean, that the average user would have to own about 1800 GPUs.

This seems to me absolutely ridiculously. Roll Eyes
So can somebody tell me what i did wrong in my reflectings?  Grin

I didn't look into your calculations into detail but what I can think of are 3 things:
1) Certain people probably have closed-source CPU & GPU miners with higher hashrates
2) There is a lot of cloud mining hashpower that has been bought
3) Some people have powerful servers with multiple CPUs or AWS or even supercomputers

yes, okay that's absolutely true. But we're talking about 180 Mio. Highend Gpus. Even the fastest supercomputer in the world has just around 10.6 Mio. cores. I mean even if you put all supercomputers together, just to mine zcash...come on this seems to me even more crazy...
