Dev should fork his coin. The business model is not working... reduce the max number of coins per block to 5 ZEC... and price will already jump back to 2 BTC...

Yeah and if you set block reward to 0.0001 ZEC it will jump even higher, just so that we and dev can sell the coins... lol
i would be happy with 0.0001 ZEC reward Smiley

You have really bad taste in selecting coins.  I bet fomo got you and you bought above 1 BTC/ZEC.

0.30 BTC now... get ready for 0.20 BTC... maybe a little pump to 0.40... but then the drop will continue.

volume exchanged are going down..
ZEC is drilling to find a new bottom to restart.
and he still finding it!!!

Yea its dropping faster than I expected. And the trading volume is also down a bit. I think it 'll be many months after we can see stability in this coin.

i think the main issue with zec is that the large scale holders are freely dumping with the increase of block value to balance out mining competition with other coins.

unless you turn over your rewards after every block you find, this coin is no more profitable than eth by the time the dumps on exchanges catch up with you.

also is the privacy feature going to eventually work, or is it functional but just slow.. whats the deal there.

also also.. are there mining rewards for orphans? (uncles)

Dev should fork it... 5 ZEC per block is more then enough... price will move up and investors vs miners will be in balance.

the price is dropping day by day.

Yeah you are right and I think that this is because of the fact its more and more used by bots and they are just pumping and dumping its pretty logical and not good at all for the coin right now.

Crazy pump from 0.250 to 0.380... pitty that I went full in at 0.356 and was not able to buy coins at 0.251. Anyway profit is profit, never thought that it would move up again after being that low.

I think people are more worried about the current and near future price instead of focusing on the technology behind it and what it has improved upon compared to Bitcoin.

The Deep Web Mob now have a means of 100% anonymous payments and untraceable, Bitcoin or ZCash ? Decisions, Decisions Cheesy

For a coin to be usable it needs to have a relatively stable price. Zcash is not an example in this case!

The zk-SNARK zero knowledge proof is very novel, difficult to understand and highly untested. It could prove to be a game changer - or a disaster, if it turns out to have flows
