any comment from zcoin devs?

Max
Is it not strange? No one significant wants to say anything about  unnormal XZC situations.
In the past, MPH was dominating in mining XZC and had over 50% of nethashrate but blocks was distribuating proportionaly.
Now, diferent pool is domnating but since a few weeks blocks are not distribuating proportionaly. Someone say "luck". I say that in MPH should be naming un-luck.

Isnt that F2pool mining most of the blocks? It is kinda wierd considering the hashrate vs MPH. Maybe MPH hashrate is bugged afterall and just numbers.

For me, all of this are pointing thath someone is manipulaiting of net-hashrate Sad
And doasn't metter who or what (pool/miner).
Significant is that miners are loosing trust to pools and Zcoin and no one is doing/saying anything.
Ok, lets devs and pool owners wil mining XZC themself.
Died of mining on Suprnova, it will die on MPH and "decentralised" coin will be mined on the only right one pool. Huh

I see that those are the main Block finders :
aHBqmMiMzcHpYd9HSsGWnoLnA5GZ8Rn5KJ(F2Pool)
a69iYfxDwwuCnYdVKqscGSaLS2xfu6hDh5
aGbz8dk7XMs8ViqzTpJivVfZP7t5UmiQPG

What I don't understand is how F2pool finds most of the time 8~10 blocks in a raw!,  there is some serious block distributions problem(lyra2z bug or?).

P.S: I asked before if F2pool pays the Extra luck they get or miners only get what they should based on their hash-rate? there is no stat on F2pool and 4 me as a miner is hard to determine.

Edit: Another "Lucky" day with only 52% of the net hash-See 4 yourself:

Maybe statistics in a different numerical space apply here?  Tongue
And seriously, if something that is totally out of the bell curve, it can mean that someone/something is cheating.  Embarrassed

146 GH/s out of total 246GH/s = 59% of hash on f2pool right now

https://insight.zcoin.io/blocks-date/2018-05-26
may 26 - blocks 88871 to 89028 = 157 blocks on that date (yesterday)
87 out of 157 found by f2pool which is 55% of all blocks found yesterday.

https://insight.zcoin.io/blocks-date/2018-05-25
May 25 - 89 blocks out of 146 found by f2pool, or 60% of all blocks that day.

Seems fine to me and corresponds with pools hashrate. I dont know how f2pool finds 8-10 blocks in a row, but they have majority of hashrate so nothing strange.

f2pool is PPS so you should get payed on shares submitted, you dont care how many blocks pool finds. Even if pools finds no blocks you get payed per shares submitted, hence the high fee 2.5%.  Also if pool is extremely lucky you won't get payed more - they keep it to themself.

It sucks f2pool doesn't have any statistics.

It is always good to spread hash around. It is not good for any one pool or organization to mine the majority of the blocks. If you are mining this coin think about moving to another pool to spread the hash power around.

I was planning to mine Zcoin all next summer but I just switched to another coin temporarily... there is not enough pools, mph is extremely unlucky (it sometimes takes from 500% to 1000% of the expected time to find a block, meanwhile f2pool gets very very very lucky), miners are asking legitimate questions, is someone cheating? Pretty disappointing to mine lately...

Interesting, after the update the MPH luck is back no normal: 17/54=30% same as the relative hashrate 70/238, so there was a something off?
P.S: seems that now a69iYfxDwwuCnYdVKqscGSaLS2xfu6hDh5 has very very bad luck...

Zcoin is now ready for cross-chain dapps with the Blocknet Protocol.

Now that XZC is compatible with the Blocknet Protocol, it can be used in cross-blockchain dapps and traded on beta Block DX!

You can read more about Blocknet, the Blocknet Protocol, and Block DX here:

https://blocknet.co

https://sites.google.com/view/blocknet/directory

To get started with trading on Block DX, follow this setup guide: https://docs.google.com/document/d/1ciwLFSXwv6CXd3QEvVW88lHXo9CSIlweYOoSbDHkies/preview

The setup is in the process of being automated/abstracted so it's much easier and streamlined to use for beginners. In addition to that, in July we are planning to release SPV support which will allow for the creation of litewallets so whole blockchains will not need to be downloaded.
