Looking for 30-40k $ARK for my private $ARK pool. Pays out higher than a top 5 ranked pool that pays 100%. Please contact me via avfcpieface87@gmail.com if interested.

If the DPoS payouts by voting for delegate is 5ARK per week right now and the price of ARK went to $20 or $50, would the payouts still remain the same at 5ARK per week?

Yes, probably they will. Top 51 competes to forge, so if you get 4 ark at one delegate or 5 ark at the other, who would you vote for....?

Will the delegates have the same amount of ARK to disperse between the voters? Or the amount of ARK forged by the delegates goes down as the price goes up so the delegates will have less to pay out?

Daily ark forget stays the same. This means that the yearly interest goes down per year.

I expect the market dynamics to come into play here, that means alot of people will be motivated to vote , this means the demand will be high and the reward will likely come down

I doubt that.... there will always be competition between the top 51 to get voters so they have to keep the payout interesting for all voters or they will lose their spot in the top 51 and stop forging all together hence losing their own profit too...

But I guess time can only really tell! Smiley

First let's see it can reach $20 Grin then we will see what's going to happen with delegates. Maybe after core 2.0, arkvm and more encoded listeners they will start marketing heavily and we'll see $20

Ark go up! Wink

Yeah, ARK needs to go up,up,up,up,up,up,up,up. It's the most undervalued project on the first page.
It should have at least the same price as Neo, or more.
Update after update gets posted and still undervalued.
ARK needs either Bitfinex or Bithumb ASAP.
The other big projects all have big exchanges like Bitfinex and Bithumb  where the whales pump them.
ARK has Bittrex, but to get to ETH and Dash's level, it needs more big exchanges.

Why would the reward (in number of Ark forged) go down? The number of Ark forged is static; it's just a question of who is forging them, and what percentage of them they're distributing to others. Price changes will not affect the number of Ark forged unless the Ark team fundamentally changes the Ark code.

If anything, more interest in Ark would lead to greater competition among delegates to gain votes and remain in the top 51, leading to higher percentages of the forged Ark being allocated to voters and/or more 'benefits' being kicked back to the community in other ways as part of the delegates' proposals. So, a price increase in Ark will lead to greater profits in the sense of $$ per day, but potentially also in the sense of the # of Ark per day paid to voters.

Hey Ark Community,

The Foundry is still forging strong. Thanks for all the support! We've been pleasantly surprised by the amount of interest in our proposal to buy Ark and join the Ark community. We've been forging for 3 days now and decided to write a small post on it, check it out here: https://medium.com/@samuelzwaan/the-foundry-the-beginnings-of-forging-ark-9fa99d23d071

We are always looking for more voters, so if you like our initiative to recruit more Ark members every day, please vote for the foundry.

We will keep you posted!

Thanks,

The Foundry
