This is a total scam imo. I feel sad for some. I woke up early the other day suddenly realising in what danger i had put myself in. As in... u know when people are staking.. and get profit paid in coins NOT MONEY, that means they all start selling... I immediatly logged in and saw it allready happening. I didnt wanted to sell at 12 satoshi. How lucky i was to still sell it at 13 cause i set that price is probably only cause people were still buying this scam.

I sent a payment to myself of 100,000 emb out of my 800k and my computer froze. when I reset it said I only had 0.0088 left in my wallet with a conflicted transaction payment to myself!!! wheres my EMB?? I backed up my wallet when I first loaded up the wallet... does that help???

its fine wallet just abit corrupt, you just need to go to console (help, debug window, console) type checkwallet press enter (it will tell you amount of coins that dont add up) then type repairwallet this will get your coins back.

Hope this helps, the commands are the same for all wallets incase you get similar problem again.

By some reason my wallet stays out of sync ever since it was downloaded (v1.0.1.0-gv1.0.1.0 for Windows). Is there anything i can check on my end? Says 0 active connections to ember network, not staking because wallet is offline.

I heared rumors there that they are about to make the staking much less from Sept the 15. with the new wallet. Im glad i joined already, made 40% by now )) cant wait for the prizes to rise when the inactive coins from the past get burned on Nov the 1. As far as I know are many from the "richlist" inactive and that means that there might ve billions which get burned - $$$ ))

Oh, i almost forgot, if you want to get your stake return daily, you need arround 10.000.000EMB at the moment. (Chances of daily stake goes up with the ammount of your matured coins. When you have like 20.000.000 your should split it into 2 Stakes - its a chances-thing, i dont realy get it but i will do as soon as i have that much :-D

Yes this is normal for EMB your weight will be spent when you POS a block, as more people are staking it take longer to get your POS block but it will happen randomly. After 12 hours you will get that spent weight back.

They will be implementing Master Nodes on the 15th so the new wallet is just to add that functionality, The coins will be the same, will use the same wallet.dat and blockchain. Hard fork are normally when they create a different blockchain with a new coin.

On the total coin supply, I think that may be a bogus number, unless you can see a richlist and see all the coins that are not in exchange orders.  

There is an Order book:798,782,756.11748230 EMB at cryptopia

There is an Order book: 69,845,857.64130058 EMB at Nova.

So, unless there are some people staking with wallets that have over 5 million, or just cold storage like that, doesn't seem the total number of coins is over 2 billion.  There aren't that many connections to the wallet that make me think these numbers are 15,173,463,617 EMB at CMC.

Maybe the original was a projection for the original timeline?

The only thing my numbers don't take in account that I know about are the orders in LTC, etc. if those aren't included.

The staking weight is 4.8 Billion for EMB that equals to 4.8 Billion coins, That doesn't include the coins that are not mature yet so it will be bout 20-30% more. So at least 6 Billions coins are being staked.

Where do you get these figures from?  Do you have a link?

For anyone who cant get the walllet sync'd and running, once you have done the below it should start connecting to peers and download the chain and be up to date, it may take an hour or two and you may see connected peers connect and disconnect but leave alone and it should be fine.

If you have 1 million EMB it should stake within 15~19 days. If you have two million it would be closer to 7~9 days. If you have less then 500,000 then it may take 30~40 days. Good Luck!
