Today was a good increase to 0.08 BTC after yesterday's unjustified sale.

The sales will keep on some time, unitil there are some usage of the ZCash in dark net. Then the price will rise.

I dont think it would be used on the darknet hence monero and bitcoin is commonly used there and i cant think of a thing on why zcash will be used there even it claims about its feature i dont think people on darknet would able to recognize zcash.

It depends on the effort of the ZCash developers and big whales. After they have enough, they and promote and pump.

I suggest to everyone to don't enter this as long as the full reward is active (i.e. in 33 days).

I would consider this to be a way to short a time frame. 6-9 months would be more appropriate in my opinion. Let us do some very simple math here.

ZEC block 1036, just currently mined, has a total block reward of 0.6476 ZEC. In 34 days the block reward will be 12.5 ZEC. So here is the math. If the demand for ZEC remains constant, which is a massive if since it requires keeping up the hype for over a month, then the price per ZEC would drop by an additional factor of over 19x. to around 0.3 XBT or around 214 USD. Let us not forget the peak was around 2.4 million USD. In addition, one would expect this bear market to gain some momentum on the downside, with a base starting point of a drop of around 99.99%. The question of how many 9s, will it be 99.999% or 99.9999% etc., before a bottom is reached remains to be seen.

Edit: I get the feeling that someone really overreacted to the criticism of the Dash instamine here, with this linear ramp up of the block reward over 34 days.

Well I was wrong this bear market has been more brutal than my estimate of 0.3 XBT I made back in October.

ZEC - ZCash is growing rapidly and from the top traded coins on poloniex seems that ZEC is upper than ETC.

And the trading volume last 24 hours is 1724BTC which is really high for a new coin that has reached the market.

I expect soon ZEC to reach 0.15, thank you...

with a price like that you have to expect that people do trade that often and i am sure most of them are mining Zcash as it gives ample profit than mining bitcoin i guess but the price of Zec is crashing all the way and now it has reached $54 today and i dont know if we can see a rise from this price anytime soon

Twas not suspected, when the initial release I had underestimated this coin, but now I have to buy expensive to have and save. Hope as an alternative to long term investment.

It would be lovely if the founders (and they are reading this) will setup a burn address and burn 19 or 19.5% of there payout.
Now this 20% founders fee will burn them and the coin. This way there will be a lot more understanding and patience.

Nope, Pump ZEC, for now, = Waste a lot of money(whales).
The supply was increasing anytime and which mean the coin won't be going to rarely. And it will give any impact for the price will always down ever the whales was pumping it and believe me it goes down again.

Founders need to setup the burning address and burn 19.5% everyday.  You will see, cash will go up and your 0.5% will add up more in dollars then 20% now.

Be more concrete, how? Probably people will start pumping the price and get on the level that it was before at ~0.1BTC but that is pretty hard because it is now +150% which I think can't be done within this year!?

The early price of 3000 bitcoin is not relevant. The volume was very small.
