Finally, after ignoring zcash for more than 2 years (I said why in my previous post) I bought my first zcash today. While the inflation is still heavy and we could see more downside the price is becoming reasonable at last. It's been a long wait, but it was worth it

The question now is how much lower can we go? Judging from other altcoins, like monero, my guess is less than 50% (in btc ratio). I'm ready to increase my investment by a lot if we're closing in on that target.

Zcash is launching on Oct 28th 2016

It's already traded as futures on bitmex. Currently the market has predicted that the price will be 0.2 BTC on December 30th 2016.

Since I couldn't find a speculation topic I'm creating one. Will keep moderation to a minimum (remove off-topic, spam etc)

Its seem zcash stay their place in the coin market but do not anticipate price increase for this year
Wait next year for the whole 1st quarte of 2019 possible the an price increase development for crypto

The reason for drop was simple as coinbase is based in the US and thus comes under the SEC & FINRA KYC/AML compliance which makes KYC compulsory for everyone. Due to this the privacy of Zcash which have zero-knowledge cryptography might be compromised by going live on coinbase. this may be the reason for drop in price of Zcash.
