They just changed the minimum order to .0005 BTC.  Hopefully, this is just a short term change.

Yes, it seems to be. BTC Pairs' minimum trade from 0.00005 to 0.0005, x10 increase and also for Doge (10) and LTC (0.01). Hot topic now in Cryptopia forum aside from the 0.002 BTC withdrawal fee. I wonder if there is an announcement about this change?

Wonder if the new limits also apply to API calls. May cause some liquidity problems if each trade needs to be a minimum of a few bucks worth, and therefore bots will no longer attempt to (or cannot) execute small trades.

Raising minimum order 10x (without notice!!!) wont ease server load as bots and api trade will work without problems. Only ones affected will be small traders and small coin markets. Step in wrong direction Cryptopia ...

Tradesatoshi is an established exchange and has a lot of the coins Cryptopia has.   If Cryptopia is going to stay with this outrageous minimum then there will probably be a migration there, as well as Coinexchange.

There is currently a large backlog of transactions on the ETH network https://etherscan.io/txsPending

Deposits and Withdrawals will be delayed, unfortunately this is outside of Cryptopia's control, so please be patient Smiley

No, that was my point: because they're automated, bots can go for the smaller trades, ones which humans would not normally bother with, and make up overall volume by doing more of them. Raising the minimum trade amount by a factor of 10 will mean many of those trades can no longer occur. This could affect the market because we no longer have little high speed idiots consistently munching away on profitable opportunities, converging the order books. Could see much higher spreads and high slippage on an individual trade for quieter coins.
