We had to buy 5 million dotcoins at that time were 500 satoshi
We have cancelled listing as we will be making our own exchange.Good luck to cryptopia its a great exchange

25 BTC? Ouch.

Hopefully you can recover some of that, although I expect you're going to make a fairly big loss. The DOT market cannot really support the massive purchases needed to pay for listing. To buy a large amount at market rate causes serious slippage.

The Bitcoin software, network, and concept is called "Bitcoin" with a capitalized "B". Bitcoin currency units are called "bitcoins" with a lowercase "b" -- this is often abbreviated BTC.

Cryptopia where's my coins?  10 days for a stuck transaction.  No support no help no coins.  My coins are still in cryptopia and you owe me my coins.  instead of trying to find scammers you should stop scamming other people's coins.

My withdrawal from this exchange worth 4BTC in altcoin was still pending for 4 days. The support ticket is still unanswered for almost 3 days since the day I file it. ERC20 token takes only 2mins-1hr to confirm the transaction, I do also some research on their different social media account and I found out that there is so many users that have pending withdrawal for a long time. Please avoid now this exchange.

Yes Block I also have some issue with this exchange. My 2 withdrawal are still pending and the support ticket is still unanswered. And also the withdraw fee is so high. So nowadays I suggest to avoid this exchange.

Due to being unable to provide any kind of realistic or accurate ETA on both the DOGE/LTC markets being resumed, we have decided it best to close these base markets at this time. Please close any open orders, and we apologize for the inconvenience."

They might be trying to exit scam like bitconnect, mt gox.

They've closed down LTC and DOGE coin trading.  They're shutting down NZ deposit because the bank is closing down Cryptopia's account.  Coins are getting stuck left and right.  people's money is missing.  No support and no coins!

Not to mention phishing PM's and Cryptopia posting stuff like scams in their website.  You know who did that?  Coinsmarket.com..  Coinsmarket still has people's coins and hasn't opened their website for 2 months.

Support is non existent.

These small exchanges are prone to be scams. Cryptopia owe me $5000.

I heard that contacting the New Zealand Commerce Commission could help light a fire under Cryptopia. If you would like to help, please also send them an email.

Here is the body of the message I've sent to contact@comcom.govt.nz:
Quote
Greetings New Zealand Commerce Commission,

I am writing you today regarding Cryptopia / cryptopia.co.nz , a New Zealand business.

Said company is a cryptocurrency exchange. Part of the function of a cryptocurrency exchange is to temporarily act as a custodian of customer funds in the form of cryptocurrency, while the customer is trading those funds and until the customer requests to withdraw those funds.

Cryptopia, however, has disabled the ability of many customers to withdraw certain types of cryptocurrency without a reasonable explanation as to why, and without a reasonable effort to restore the critical withdrawal function. In my case, I've been waiting 2 months already, and in another 2 weeks a dividend payment to which I am entitled will be paid to Cryptopia.

This situation has led some to suggest that Cryptopia is purposely scamming customers, that they are insolvent, or that they will soon cease operations and run away with customer funds.

Please see the following page for information about the specific cryptocurrency of which Cryptopia has dispossessed me.

https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=2948513

I strongly suggest that the Commission looks into this matter towards resolution before it spirals out of control and brings a cascade of bad press to New Zealand.

Kind Regards,

Feel free to use any portions of this in your own email.

what's the reason for closing down LTC and DOGE? why were they suspended at the first place?
where is this news officially posted on the site? I can't find it... can anyone give me link?

They actually didn't provide any concrete reason behind their actions. I've dug through their forums, tweets and news page but can't see any notice or explanation on why they closed down their LTC and DOGE market. It is in my understanding that they deliberately didn't provide any information because it's been closed for some time now and they always have the time to make an announcement for it.

Currently, I'm staying away from their exchange. They've been a good exchange so far but right now, I can't trust them to handle any of my trades. Will definitely check them from time to time for any progress.

You can read updates on Cryptopia's Twitter account & on Cryptopia's site under News/Information Section.

When you look a little closer you'll see that the closure of the LTC Base Market is temporary. Cryptopia is working on a solution and creating a sister site for LTC markets.

Here's the post published by one of the founders of Cryptopia: Hex @ 1/11/2018 12:11:38 AM

Further Updates On LTC Basemarkets
I understand that while this may not be the update many people want to hear, it at least will hopefully provide everyone with a clear understanding of the path forward.

Cryptopia will be standing up new sister sites such as ltc.cryptopia.co.nz to handle base markets dedicated to LTC on their own trade engine and database to allow them to continue to trade, and allowing cryptopia.co.nz to resume registrations.

You will still need to transfer funds between the different sites to trade on each of them but this will be able to be handled instantly by Cryptopia in the background with atomic swaps, so you'll still have the single Cryptopia account that you use on the different exchanges.

As such, we will be permanently closing the LTC basemarkets on cryptopia.co.nz

Users will have a month to cancel their open orders after which point the markets will be closed and your orders will be cancelled for you.

Further updates on the timeline for the new LTC exchange will be posted as they become available.

Are BTC withdrawals faster these days? On December with the BTC ATH they were clogged, now BTC network looks less busy, did anyone do some withdrawals of BTC recently that arrived in hours?

Dear Cryptopia and Lafu.

I withdraw and confirmed it almost half a day ago:
№3155771 ZEC 0.37070744 t1VtPYE1EZnDUevKNqurGE4UCREgfZHknAv.

But the status is "Pending", Tx is not.

I know and I see that the enrollment of coins for an account takes a long time, in the last month they have stretched from 2 to 24 hours.
Earlier somehow the problem itself was solved, without support. But I decided to write here.

Sorry for my bad English and hello from Russia.

P.s. on small stocks.exchange on the stock exchange the same problems - inputs / outputs occur on a day  Grin

I observe - as soon as the bitcoin rate moves up and down very fast and downwards, then the problems with the time of enrollments and withdrawal

BTC withdrawals are executed within minutes. This has been the case for months (for me at least).

Cryptopia dont steal your Coins , lol

Maybe thinking about what Shit you talking about !

There are some backlogs , issues with wallets and other things , because an exchange wallet isnt the same as a wallet at your home PC ,

also this wallet runs on a seperated Blockchain who Cryptopia runs on !  You know nothing how this all works !

Also there is backlog in support tickets we known this and catching up !

But the First you all  write is  this is Scam and we steal coins , but this is not true !

I guess maybe i get now again spam mails and bad trust , or someone goes personaly offensive in threads about me , but i only tell you this all ,  i dont can anything about every issue that was happend !

Please give restoring the GBYTE (Byteball) wallet preference, as the next Airdrop of Byteball is beginning of March. And without an option to withdraw GBYTE, those stuck at Cryptopia will see their Airdrop moment wasted...  Roll Eyes
