@Xardas2014 and Rapidgator... can i use GPU-Z alongside crimson driver with built in wattman pls guide @Xardas2014 what is another windows miner share plz Thanks in advance GPU-Z is an info tool for the most part and is safe to use and will not affect drivers or wattman. For the other windows miners just read my earlier posts. you got 86sols/s on modded bios or changed mem n timing or on stock setting Modded to change timing and TDP. If you look at the pic I posted it is running at ~55 watts. I haven't finished the mod yet. I'm not using wattool, wattman, trixx etc. Just my bios edits. I'm trying to keep the gpu running at 100% while using the least amount of power as possible. I'm fairly certain I could get 100+ sol/s out of it, but don't have time to mess with it right now.

i've had a look at the SA miner. its still effectively a Linux miner but using cygwin to be able to run on windows. you also need to download a certain python package as well as the default windows one wont work
You see, that's why most people are perfectly happy to pay a fair fee to Claymore. Because he provides them added value. Those who don't value their own time can go and tinker around with some Linux crap. It's a free market. If you can't download/run: https[Suspicious link removed] and set up your bat file for SA then mining isn't for you. As posted on another forum: I was able to get Silentarmy v5 up and running in windows in under 5 minutes. I installed python - https[Suspicious link removed] and downloaded the package https://github.com/dagf2101/silentarmy . Good to go on the first try. It's not about can or can't. I personally work with several flavors of Linux and I coded in Python in the early 2000s when pretty much nobody knew it and all Linux nerds used Perl. I still consider Linux to be utter crap and the market shares it has confirms this (though fanboys are in continuous denial of reality, I know). Anyone who can install Windows can also install Python and what not. But some people value their time and prefer a miner like Claymore! So what's the point of all the Linux trolls spamming this forum and asking the same already answered question a hundred times. And then the "fee is too high" trolls who worry about OPM, other people's money. It's not their f... business how much Claymore is charging. It is their right to not use it.

i have digital alliance rx480 8gb. run on W10 i got 83-86sols but the power draw is very high, about 275Watt from wall. the system use about 60W so its 215W for the card only. mod with PBE. now trying to tweak the wattman to reduce power draw. hope it went well.

Hi all. I apologize if this post is not like that. Enough to butt. Do not write in this thread about SA, there is a separate thread on the forum. I am very glad that you have a high hash rate, but it does not help the developer to improve their product. Lay out the logs files with errors and not solosite topic. With respect to aim.

@Claymore: There seems to be a bug with the -li parameter.
R9 Nano does 100 H/s with stock ROM, pulling around 200W.
Since I prefer more silent operations, I use -li 2 and it does 75 H/s at 160W.
But... after some time the hashrate drops from 75 H/s to 60 H/s in this -li 2 mode.
I noticed it because noise level dropped, so fans spinned slower. However, as soon as I connect to each rig over Teamviewer the miner speeds up again to 75 H/s per card.
I am puzzled since all energy saving crap is disabled on these rigs and they work since a year without any such problem on many other coins.
I have not tried -li 2 on previous versions because it wasn't necessary before v 4.0
If I keep Teamviewer open, the speed won't drop and it remains at 75 H/s per card.

Therefore it really seems there is a bug in the way this -li parameter is implemented. Win7, 15.12, v4.0, R9 Nano Anyone else using a similar setup checked their rigs to see if they are affected?

I'm fairly certain I could get 100+ sol/s out of it, but don't have time to mess with it right now. can you share your modded bios rom here or via PM so i will update mine ? edit : are you using SA with Python as you described earlier? No I won't. Cards ASIC quality varies and my mod might work or might smoke your exact same card due to ASIC quality. There are plenty of tutorials on bios modding so you can do it yourself. Yes, I'm using SA with Python as described earlier. I'm also using Claymore on other rigs. I did same and installed python - https://www.python.org/ftp/python/3.6.0/python-3.6.0b3.exe and downloaded the package https://github.com/dagf2101/silentarmyEdit bat file like this one Edit and Worked But when i run SA from batfile it opens and close immediately like flash Update : its working now but my all my cards now giving 75sols/s except 5th card giving only 0.5 Sols/s why ? Should i install AMD APP SDK 3.0 ?? P.S: Any Modded Rom for AMD Sapphire Nitro+ Rx 480 8GB OC for 100+ Sols/s My GPUs are ellesmere with Samsung chip How to lower the power from wattman builtin tool?
