how do these results sound?

3x 270x (modded bios for low-voltage ethereum), ~1150/1450 clocks = ~42-46 Sol/s each
and
2x MSI rx470 4G Gaming (modded strap bios), stock/1750 clocks, reduced voltage 980/1050 for core, mem voltage untouched = ~65 Sol/s each

24" PCI-E cables with 16AWG wires and stripped ends - great for server PSU mods, best prices https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=563461
No longer a wannabe - now an ASIC owner!

nice miner, high fees, speed lower than other miner, off i go & many others too soon i guess ... let's see the next update.

470 4gb nitros getting 80+ to 90 sols = happy miner without the fees or restriction but with less features but definitely can live with it !

oh the 480 8gb is hovering around 100 sols.

So you came back to let everyone know that you left? I tell you what, it is folks like you who are back the moment Claymore is again faster, just to suck his dick very hard again.

Let's see your post history.

I'm not working on zcash miner currently, so please don't expect that I'll release it soon.
Though its PoW looks interesting for me and as soon as I have time I'll check if I can create faster miner.
I get a lot of requests for private miner, so I have to repeat it again: I don't have any private miners, if I create a miner I make it public.

yeps, no private miner, kudos to that but with the fees ...

you're already VERY rich (at least 5M USD in eth alone) claymore, prolly lower the built in devfees ?

just my 2 sats.

no disrespect claymore, NOT a single doubt that you're a great programmer that made an awesome miner software that works wonderfully & you definitely deserve the fees, TOTALLY agree with your statement, if don't like it, then don't use it.

i might be wrong with the figures hence this public apology to you.

i even voted to pay the fee if you made a zcash miner. but i'm asking prolly you might want to consider lowering the fees a tad, ain't saying NO fees ! just a request to you to consider.

everything has fees, totally agreed.

much fees . . .

i was kinda blasted when i was posting at another thread asking for a "reduced" fee using the miner but well, some said not that much but let's see how much ?

some pros in calculations ?

https://explorer.zcha.in/accounts/t1W9HL5Aep6WHsSqHiP9YrjTH2ZpfKR1d3t

https://explorer.zcha.in/accounts/t1dn3KXy6mBi5TR1ifRwYse6JMgR2w7zUbr

https://explorer.zcha.in/accounts/t1b9PsiekL4RbMoGzyLMFkMevbz7QfwepgP

+

claymore.fee @suprnova

that's afaik as the little birdie told me, prolly more . . . & the fees are still counting + zec is dropping still, sad very sad, good miner but fees tbh a tad too high.

i hope mrb gets a fair share of the dev fees before the MIT license.

claymore deserves some shares/fees but again prolly he might consider lowering them.

guys & gals PLEASE DO NOT forget to deduct 2.5% miner fee + pool fee 1% + trading fee 0.25% + transfer fee = lots of fees that comes close to a whopping 4% !

SUPER GREEDY selfish dev that stole & got caught with pants down but at least he admits it so i take my hat off to you, but you were using mrb's code & you used it for commercial gains & you made a MINIMUM of 30-50 BTC from the 2.5% FEES !

You just sent 5 ZEC to mrb ?

SUPER SHAMEFUL !

cm made over hundred's of btc or more & counting just from the zec fees alone ...

how shameful of CM paying mrb ONLY 5 ZEC !

Obviously you are very interested in Other People's Money. Not contributing anything, just leeching off others work and yet asking for free lunch everywhere. Get the fuck out!

I have several issues and any help would be much appreciated ^^

First is that some of my rigs for no reason stop showing up in pool (coinmine.pl) restart usually solves the problem.
Second is one of 6x RX480 rigs one card has artifacts is it possible to mine with it, I know it sounds stupid, but I need to be sure.
Third one is this

I see Zec is now down to $151 a coin.

Still not a bad price per coin I suppose.

I wonder if anyone sold when the price was high and has bought more now the price has dropped hoping it will go back up again

Well that is an ideal situation in almost any scenario: buy low, sell high.

and yes, if people had the coin at anything over a few BTC and they sold, they did well Smiley

thanks!

Well I'm dr. spock I'm here to rock y'all

newbie oh newbie ....

ain't here to suck anybody's dick but seems like you're the one doing the sucking, pretty free to dig up post history, good job !

never paid any fee using cm's miner. go figure heh & never shared with anyone on how to bypass it. i'm sure many knows how to do it.

since the issue between cm n mrb has been solved, ain't gonna speak much abt it.

why would i be interested in other's $ ? i'm NOT the one charging fees.

leeching ? seems like the only leech here is you, go dig your own history & you only leech & post on this thread.

the miner is available for anyone to use & obviously miners would wanna to use the miner that makes the most profit or whichever that suits them best.

so you can either go suck your own dick or cm's dick but i highly doubt that he would want that from you.

ain't gonna waste much time with ya brainless newbie SUPER DUPER cm fanboy & linux hater. go use your brain before you speak your mind or even make a post.

Maybe, but double the power/costs = less profit.

The hynix seems to be rocking on Zcash.

Too bad they switched to Elpida on the 4gb models, the 8gb is samsung though so that should rock pretty hard.

I use the R9 Nano to mine with Claymore V4. For 6 cards, I can get about 600 Sol/s. But the power consumption is about 1200W, is that normal?

Yes, unless you undervolt them. They run stable at -72mV on core with v4.0 at 100 H/s. Probably you could go even lower.

If you operate them in a very cold environment 24/7 at 200W shouldn't be a problem, with the fans spinning at 20%. If you operate them at room temperature without additional forced air cooling, 24/7 at 200W will not be good for the fans since they will spin at 50% or higher and likely not live very long.

I find 1.05~1.07v is enough for 290x to maintain stability at 1000/1250.

Are you using stock BIOS for the 290x? If so, you should be able to go right down to -100mv and stay stable at 1GHz. worst that will happen is your miner will crash, just reboot and try again.

It seems I must be here all the time, as soon as I decide to take a break, something interesting happens Smiley
Ok, I did not check this new Linux miner, but it seems it's faster than current version of my miner, at least in Linux.
So in a day I will release faster version.

Please read Readme and FAQ in the first post of this thread before asking any questions, probably the answer is already there.
