Each block is stacked on top of the previous one. Adding another block to the top makes all lower blocks more difficult to remove: there is more "weight" above each block. A transaction in a block 6 blocks deep (6 confirmations) will be very difficult to remove.

my zecminer crashes only in a 380 rig, someone with the same problem?

My 6 R9 390 rig crashes severely on all cards.  The same type of cards on mixed rigs work flawlessly! The 390 rig works perfectly with other miners (Claymore ETH, XMR, Silentarmy5) and with significantly fewer crashes on ZEC  versions 3-4. I am considering replacing driver 15.12 with the lastest 16.10 or 16.11.

What do you rejoice? It is advantageous when your speed is higher than the other. And when the rate rises in all, you are in relation to other, standing pat are.

It just kills the coin.

Exactly - the only one actually making money is Claymore xD

If you check history, my miner is not x3 faster than others, I just see how fast others miners and release a bit faster version. This time I have to release faster version due to new miner. If people stop this speed racing I'll stop it too, but you know it won't work Smiley
Also do note my miner is not for NVidia, not for CPU and not for Linux, so if I release miner with x2 speed, network difficult is not going to raise x2 too.
Faster public miners don't kill coins! Private miners which could concentrate hash power in a few big farms may be nocive for the coins if they are a lot faster than public ones.
Faster public miners on the contrary, help with a more diversified distribution, lowering the impact of private miners.

The price is declining because zcash was overpriced due to the low initial mining rewards which leads to a very low initial supply.
The total emission will be 21 millions of coins like bitcoin or like monero in 2040: Expecting the price could be maintened around 1 btc is unreasonnable for short/medium term. I would expect price going in the 0.005-0.05 range.

I have 2 rigs x6 msi rx480 8gb cards(ellesmere 1303/2000 stock) on win 10, z97 gaming mb and 8gb ram, 1200watt psu.

Rig 1 has a small overclock of 1350/2100 using afterburner, tried the same on rig 2 and one of the GPU's crashed.

I am getting roughly 720-750 on each rig, 120 - 130/s per card.  Is there anything else I can do to increase speed?  I'm not sure what mod I would need for the cards bios or how to do memory overclock.  Any help is much appreciated.(I am happy with these speeds but would like to learn how to push the cards harder)

Also, what does undervolting the cards do?  Is that just to lower power consumption or does it help increase speed?

Only 1200? I also have 2 rigs 1 is with 2x xfx 280, gigabyte 280x and r9 390. The other is 4x xfx 280. How much power im using? I have 2x1300w plat. But not sure if i use the powrr at all i cant out watmetter becausr i am already out. Did you know any other method to check the powe that tge rigs are consuming? Thanks you in advanced.

My 2 rigs (7950+7950+280 & 290x+290) are using about 850w, so i think one 7950/280 will take about 150w and 290(x) maybe 200w... so I think your 4x280 rig would take about 600w only...

Claymore, i got issue with the new 5.0 ver for 1 of 5 rigs. It has 5 GPU and only 2 is working, the others show 0. Previous vers works ok. Nothing has been changing (drivers, config file, etc).

New 5.0 uses GPU a bit more.
You need to downclock your Hawaii cards a bit or increase voltage.
Got similar issues on some of my cards.

That isn't the issue. It's the know 4xx bug, see previous posts to fix.

1. there's no any RX 4** card, only Fiji and Hawaii
2. My RX 480 nitro's were fixed with little memclock drop - or I constatnly have "driver restored" messages.

Run Fiji and Hawaii in separate windows; it's the same bug.

Hello? Are you able to read this? Guess what... the best miner ever created has arrived! https://github.com/aaronsace/MultiPoolMiner/releases

Thank you, bro. I've lost 20% today Smiley

After seing his post I went to see the definiton of the bull flag: It's the other way round when the waves are going up, whille the zec waves aregoing down => It should continue falling (probably very fast from here, confidence is gone after support on 130 was lost but I'm not an analyst, just my opinion)

Most of guys here like to mine at flypool (me also).. But with this scenario (ZEC looks like is going to die) i am mining at NiceHash (becouse it is in BTC auto trade) and maybe soon i will go back to ETH..

-intensity in reality is not working, does not effect. Consumption power of Tahiti decreased by 10-20 watts under the same settings.
Yes, the performance increase is phenomenal - 66H/s - 94H/s. For Pitcarn as well.
