Well 2 of my RX480 dead. Since the miner somehow changed clockspeeds and voltage they are not able to boot anymore.
I wonder why this happened because I didn't set anything in the config.txt and just used msi afterburner
@Claymore: what could cause this behaviour?
If you are having boot issues just try to remove the battery on motherboard. Unplug PSU from socket and push power button to discharge mobo circuits. That should reset your settings from mobo.
My PSU many times acts shitty. Simple power off switch for some time (10-15 sec) and powering on brought my computer to life. I think that happens when PSU gets overheated and needs some time too cool off.
Did you let it heat up too much? Super overclocked or memory super clocked? Which card do you have?
remove the card from the machine. Do the regular parade of DDU, uninstall wattman, watttool , any msi afterburner etc and reinstalling drivers.
Flash the card with original bios without starting miner.
Dont use the clock speed and memory settings on the miner and try it again. Try simple stuff like some game or something just with one card.
Hopefully your card will be good.
BEst luck
