JPC is still a decent enough return for 750Ti. I made 0.014BTC for 5*750Ti in the last 24 hours.
Yes, the price is dropping, but as long as the difficulty drops as the more demanding and impatient miners in the community move on to some other shit, it'll remain profitable for now.

but you need to dump every day for this to work, otherwise you will get stuck with coins mined at high diff while the value goes down

What should a miner be mining now a days with a 750 ti? using cudaminer and or ccminer? and what pools?
i think we have come too late, i'm waiting for the next "jackpot" Crytonight sure, until Christian release the miner, we can't do much on that algo in the meantime i mine every shit, hoping that one of them skyrocket No swipe intended on Christian, but it doesn't have to be him. As was shown with X13, someone else can write the CUDA code for mining a new coin. Christian was even happy to accept it into the main tree.

What clocks are you using for your 750 ti cards ?
I have 12 Asus GTX750TI-OC-2GD5 cards - default clock (1150 MHZ) and getting only 8000 jackpot coins per card. I'm mining at dwarfpool

Yea, but CryptoNight is going to be a bit harder then a typical algo addition into ccminer. The CryptoNote coins running https://github.com/zone117x/node-cryptonote-pool uses a bastardized version of the stratum protocol and don't play nice with existing code. I'm guessing, but when launched you'll probably see a separate miner just for Cryptonote coins.

Or a separate stratum implementation like the one for heavycoin?

You could OC core +135, maybe even more, but with memory be very careful. ASUS is really bad in memory OC. I tried adding small coolers on Samsung memory, and added thermal grease, too. But still OC vram over 200 is breaking drvier. BTW 8-9k is fine per 750Ti card.

apparently there is an X12 coin coming (blake, bmw, groestl, jh, keccak, oceam, skein, luffa, cubehash, shavite, simd, echo) Could be interesting though, there is a "new" algo in it (oceam... well new... meaning not coded yet... )

Everyone contributes to dumping, all that separates us is time. I could mine for 24 hours and then sell for what I consider an acceptable price. You could mine for 24 days and then sell for what you consider an acceptable price. There is no difference. It's a free market. Anyone can mine whatever they wish, and anyone can sell when they choose and for whatever price they choose. There is not one part of this process that is controlled, it all evolves as it evolves. The original question was regarding the best coin to mine right now. In my opinion, it is JPC. Now, if the question was regarding the best coin to hold right now then that is a different answer. Personally I am holding VTC and MON. I do not merge mine them because I can mine JPC and convert every day to BTC and then convert my BTC to my holding coins. I get much more coins this way. That's my choice, and I am free to make it just as everyone is free to make theirs. Just like Christian and his secret mining miracle machine.

(if it is to dump at the end of the day... jackpot might be better)

@djm34 Yes I dump the coin every day. I've already took my risk with VTC and MON. Holding the mined coin just compounds the risk.

most of the JPC I mined, were mined when it had a value around 1~3sat... (however I used the ressource to mine dead curecoin and dead xpm... the same crowd having mined those two coins... they seem very good at killing coins...), so holding even if it present risk offers also some benefits.
