when ccminer go in loop,(i can't even read too fast) it mean that the gpu are crashed?

hey amph could you tell me want the plugs are that same use on the graphics card ? thz

sry i did not understood lol you mean risers?

Indeed, but it is slower than bitslice-sbox-bitslice back on AMD where you have enough registers, no (easily accessible) warp shuffle and no byte permutation instruction to speed up rotates. I have implemented it both ways, so it is not just a theory Smiley

congratulations. Is that code already public?

No, not doing this mistake again Smiley However, performance on GCN 1.1 is close to that of t-tables one with beta driver.

so there is a new amd improvement which is closed source? now is the closed source war that worry me...

at least it seems only on par with the recent increase due to the amd drivers

It is not closed source, just not public. Yet.

good... That will rejoice some morons around here who think it is shameful to release open source software (even though these same morons are obviously using these open source softwares... but hey, I am not a psychologist )

The mining has turned into a kill be killed all out war, and you have 3 options these days. Option 1: sit with the herd mining what you can and slowly gain coins, and more and more equipment making the equipment designer/sellers rich..but not yourself unless you get lucky. And hope someone comes out with some software that will help your equipment along.

Option2: trade it and try your hand at speculation on the multitude of exchanges..I mean what fuck happened with Fractal coin..it exploded, but without its basis on its own name it is fucked!.(FRACTALs..which by the way using fractal cryptography with a new protocol not based on satoshi would be awesome!)

Option 3: this is the only real option to make real money: program your own code and use your own ideas on how to use the IMMENSE tools out there to make your own mining as fast and efficient as possible. I have many ideas and have spent the last month learning cuda C myself..since I seriously invested in the hardware, but I am not gonna share it because then you become part of option 1...so unless you are willing to pay the Devs what they are worth and that is in the Millions of dollars.. Then general public mining will die...

That would be okay but that would just kill cryptos ....99% of the population of the world could not code to save face. All your doing is encouraging more of "people with get more and people with not get nothing"....not the way you want to start going.

On the other hand, I do think people need to be more open and donating to devs for the work. I just started to do that myself because I understand many things come with a cost, and the devs take time to make such a good item for all of us.

Come on, Canright published the sbox in GF(2^2) back in 2005 Smiley
GF(2^8)... we based our code on his work.
Pure GF(2) is the way to the future Smiley

Of course I gave you bad advice. Good one is way out of your price range.

That is exactly the point. The software is worth cold hard cash. @10 bitcoins every 3 days that 100bitcoins a month from what this guy is doing, no Dev is going to release code for this because the second you do your profits drop to maybe 1btc a day. So really the software for a new coin algo (like Monero or Boolberry) is worth at least 300-500BTC because that is what they are able to mine on their own..

Great work, running fine.

Are you working on integrating this into an auto switcher for ccMiner?
Well, if I have some more free time. ATM I like the profit calc part of it a little bit more. But its already a nice base to start with, even though I have the command prompt handling and gpu monitoring part already, just need to link everything up, but that has already proven to be a PITA. But as you all know, donations might be the motivator to overcome that Tongue

OK. Is there any way you could have your app generate a text file in it's directory, with the 3 character code of the coin that is currently top of the list? Something that simple?

I have my miner restart itself every 15 minutes with the code below in the bat file. I'm just wondering if I could have it read your output file to decide which coin to mine.

Code:
@echo off
set app=ccminer.exe
set algo=jackpot
set address=stratum+tcp://erebor.dwarfpool.com:3352
set user=JPC_ADDRESS_HERE
set password=x
:start
  start "" %app% -a %algo% -s 1 -d 0,1,2,3,4 -o %address% -u %user% -p %password% -q
  timeout 900
  taskkill /f /im %app%
  timeout 5
goto start

Just wanted to add that I was having the same 'fan RPM' reporting CRAZY high numbers on my 4 MSI 750ti OC versions, but the 2 MSI 750ti TF versions worked fine.

Not sure if that in some way helps you track it down, but I am willing to test newer versions as well if you think anything has been addressed.

Sad, that i have only 3 cards (2 x MSI 750ti 2GD5/OC TF and MSI 660ti 2GD5/OC ) on my rig and all cards show me rpm without any problem.  Sad
I'm using nvapi function for get rpm

NvAPI_GPU_GetTachReading http://docs.nvidia.com/gameworks/content/gameworkslibrary/coresdk/nvapi/group__gpucooler.html

And that function return only one pointer to a variable... So, i will add check if it return null then string will be without rpm info.
