This seems really odd. How in the world does a miner manufacturing company not accept Bitcoin?

Good thing that the 721 is too expensive, otherwise I'd be very concerned about not being able to use Bitcoin to pay for Bitcoin mining equipment.

Hopefully in the not to distant future they will lower their price to a sub-340 day ROI (with free power), and accept Bitcoin for payment...

I have 12 Avalon 6 hashing now. They are all controlled by one Rpi, will this controller still work on the Avalon 7s? Or do I have to buy their controller as well?

The lack of BTC payment and the power efficiency compared to the S9 made me say bye bye to this  Sad
This is sad because I had great time with the A6.

Accepting BTC for payment would certainly make me reconsider making a purchase. I like the size and power requirements even if the efficiency is less.

I possibly would buy 10 with paypal and sell for btc.

My problem is they have not contacted me about my first order of 2.

So without testing the gear it is hard for me to even think about a larger purchase.

I am surprised at the low hash to energy consumption figures on the A7.  Compared to an S9 the A7 isn't even in the ball park.  That is really too bad.  Bitmain needs some competition at this point.  Not really anything in the way of choices right now for miners.

this gear needs to be reliable .  it is good if you have cheap power.

You only need to update the Software  Smiley
If you upgrade the software does it still run the A6?
Or, I should ask, can you run the A6 and A7 from the same Pi?

Transaction fees go to the pools and the pools decide to pay them to the miners. Anything else, including off-chain solutions are stealing and not the way Bitcoin was intended to function.
Make the block size set by the pool. Pool = miners and they get the choice.

Quick update as I know there has been multiple lines of communication on the subject of payment.  I opened up a support ticket asking when I could expect to make payment arrangements for the two that I ordered.

Here was the response:

Shame she points back to only allowing a single form of payment as our option.
