As I know, Yolodice allowed users to create multiple accounts even he didn't abuse the system like referring himself to take advantage and etc. Maybe they will look at this and analyze for fair the competition with each other.

Since each roll can be verified, i also think it's allowed to create new accounts to betting on yolodice (i've seen many people doing like this on other site too, they even running few accounts on same time with bots). While this guy betting, when he already hit 9900x or on profit, he will create new account and tip this new account with all balance from his previous account and he keeps repeat that.

You can create multiple accounts in Yolo. Only thing you cannot just refer yourself and then play from other account and get the referral benefits of it. Such things are not accepted. Even using multiple accounts in chat is not allowed.
It’s really going crazy as the doge investment are being taking some hit with wining of millions by that user.

today I am about to suspend the Weekly Competitions - we'll do more regular competitions instead. So this week's weekly competition is the last one.

Why? Several players shared their feedback that although weekly competitions were fun at the beginning, they are not that exciting anymore. The prize pools were not that high (they were designed to provide small-to-mid value bonuses), the number of prizes are limited to 5 per coin, and they were always "wagering" type. Honestly - I thought the weekly competitions would keep adding bonuses to the game and keep the game exciting and after 40 weeks I think they served their purpose, but it's time for a change.

Instead we'll be launching different competitions with 20-30 prizes every 2 or 3 weeks from now one. Expect the first one later this week!

Yes, i have seen multiple times moderator on yolo always give a warning for those who chatting using more than 1 account on chat box. Obviously the cheater want to use multiple account to earn rain from generous people who rained on chat.

There should be giveaway and wagering contests.

Where is the difference between weekly wager competition (the one they suspended) and your wagering contest?

For winning this how many bets the person would have lost and still quite possible that even though would have win so much but quite possible that in end might be in loss. It really requires huge luck in order to make the winning from that probability of winning the bets which is not at all easy. Investors might have lost money if overall it happens to be profitable bet.

People will still try the bets, even if they use more money to bet. Maybe they don't know if it will be hard to win those games. If they don't have luck, especially huge luck,  he will not win easily.

Ikr. It seems all of those accounts are controlled by same person since i've seen he tipped from 1 account to other new account which just created. This guy do believe about superstition/myth if we can win a lot by create new account in gambling.

Maybe. I don't think that superstition/myth can help him win a lot of money, even if he creates many new gambling accounts. People will try to use anything to try to win, even if they don't know if they have luck or not, because gambling will always tempt them to play more. They should know that gambling will always need luck, no matter how hard they gamble.

People will try to use anything to try to win, even if they don't know if they have luck or not, because gambling will always tempt them to play more. They should know that gambling will always need luck, no matter how hard they gamble.

Yea, some people do believe and others aren't, that's not a problem actually. As long as the admins (ethan & scott) don't find any suspicious thing when someone betting on yolodice, it should be allowed.

If someone manages multiple accounts and plays with them, will it never be accepted by a casino? If your account is then closed, there is little you could do. You would still be entitled to a refund of the money, I think.
These kinds of constructions are always asking for problems.

I've read all FAQ on yolodice and i didn't find any rules said player can't have multiple accounts, so  i assume that's allowed on yolodice.

Once again, doge investment is falling right now, that guy who chasing 9900x has won around 2-3 million doges with many new accounts.

Think about it this way, there was a recent whale in bustabit named wang tang, dude wagered thousands of bitcoin and won hundreds of it easily, he did this for weeks before he crashed and lost it all and then some on top of it.

So, I would say there are moments when whales do win for a long time but all it takes is one single bad luck streak and they will end up losing everything they ever had and more.

It is allowed if you are not abused faucet and referral system. Answer from 2017:

Multiple accounts are okay as far as I know as long as faucet isn't abused I think. I (and multiple players) have one or more extra accounts too. It's no problem.

I've gambled for 3+ years, and i often to hear people said "Must use new account to start or use your strategy, don't use your old account too long or site will read your strategy, etc", That's the reason why he created many new accounts to start  "hunting 9900x" , if 1 account didn't hit it for "let say 1000-2000 rolls, he will create another new account and start again.
Fact is i kinda disagree with that "superstition/myth" since i do believe each roll has their unique hash and we can't predict the outcome too.

Talking about wang guy, he was stupid to bet big amount on very low multipler (below 1.1x), while this guy bet low amount on high multipler (9900x), which bet do you think has bigger risk between both of those guys?

You should read FAQ if they have stated if it's not allowed to abuse any promotions or contest or reffering by yourself with multiple accounts.

Mr X, few months ago, was holding the first, second, third, fourth and sometimes even the fifth rank in the weekly competition for two or three weeks before losing his money. Afaik there wasn't any problem with this although most people knew that he was holding all these accounts. Abuse? maybe but what he was winning from the weekly competition was nothing for him, he just wanted to show up. I don't know about the other guy(s) but trying to pick many spots in a competition doesn't make sense unless the prize is high.

Yes, it is allowed to create multiple accounts. Here is what it says in the thread for the number hunt competition.

You can only win 1 prize per account, but you can use multiple accounts if you wish!

I don't know if he was creating new accounts for superstitious reasons. Sometimes he kept playing with the same one even after he got a big win. I think his intention was just to troll by having the leaderboard full of these crazy names and weird client seeds.

I don't know for sure about this but have heard of something like that, it could be why they say creating a new account will make the possibility of winning more because they have experienced it but it's actually just a coincidence.
Regarding casinos that make more money, it is certain because this is a business and that is the goal of the casino business to get profit.
