Does the multiport make anyone elses miners crash? Every time a coin switch happens in bfgminer, it crashes or makes devices go sick. Instead of using the pool's switching logic, I've been using MultiMiner based on Coinchoose's profitability accounting for stales. I then just set it up to connect to the individual ports for MultiPool. Right now Feathercoin is the most profitable according to Coinchoose, so I'm mining that.(Phoenixcoin is overall better profitability, but has a high stale rate, so feathercoin works out to be more profitable)
I haven't had any issues with bfgminer with my ASIC, but I use cgminer for scrypt, because it gets a better hashrate from what I've seen.

Alright, I believe you. Its just torture to see all the per-block balance, have you thought about lowering the fee you take on the first BTC block? It's been so long I've been thinking about just mining BTC on a different pool, I'm not trying to make a threat I'm just saying I feel that way with my little rig so I'm sure the guys with the big rigs are feeling that way too and I have to believe its in the best interest of the pool to keep them around.
Trust me, it's much worse for me than it is for you. But remember, the pool doesn't find the blocks, the miners do. Haha understood, and I appreciate all the work you do. This is a fantastic pool and you guys (or just you I'm not sure) do a great job keeping it up to date with the fanciest bells and whistles. So many times I've thought to myself "wouldn't that be a great idea" and found out its already listed in your upcoming updates.

It seems like Incapsula might be having issues right now.. I can't get to multipool or cryptsy (I think they also use Incapsula).. But I can get there just fine if I don't go thru Incapsula.

You should really consider adding merged mining as well to this pool and factoring that into the profit calculations, you could be merging in namecoin, ixcoin, i0coin, devcoin along side mining head chains of bitcoin, terracoin and freicoin. This will make everyone a little more profitable and help boost pool usage I'd think on the sha-256 side of things.

I've already stated that I plan to add merged mining to the BTC pool after we find our first block. It's unlikely that anything could be merged with the alts as the merged chain difficulty has to be lower than the main chain difficulty, and all of the merge coins already have higher difficulty than frc and most are either close to or higher than terracoin and ppcoin.

Is there a reason why setting a PPC payment address *appears* to be accepted initially, then on going back to the Account page later, the wallet address and auto payout threshold have disappeared?

I think it would be best to stop people mining individual sha-256 coins. So all the horse power goes to the most profitable coins, plus this would help BTC horse power.
I totally disagree. It's to everyone's advantage to have some base-load on every coin. If MultiPort switches to and then off that coin one inevitably has unpaid and/or unconfirmed shares left behind. Base-load miners help get those shares paid out even when MultiPort is elsewhere. Also, why restrict people's preferences? Adding limitations will just drive them away. People have different reasons for mining a particular coin so I hope they retain the freedom to choose.

Its unbelievable to me that multipool has yet to return anything on Bitcoin, does it really take this long to find a block?
Yes, it does. We just passed through the bitcoin difficulty yesterday, which means we are now officially having "bad luck" on this block. It's not uncommon to take 2-3x the average to find a block. It's not a pool issue, I check the debug.log every day for block submits. There haven't been any. Submitted shares are at ~114% of BTC difficulty right now. I make my living mining and I sure was hoping to hit that first BTC block in time to sell for $200 per BTC. But the reality of mining is shown in the "luck graphs" for every coin. I've felt this way several times about LTC. But then all of a sudden the draught ends and we hit 4 or 5 blocks in short order and get paid above average. The same will happen for BTC and I'm sticking to it. I'm really thrilled to have the SHA-256 MultiPort. Mining's a grind and I think it's well worth the 1.5% to have scrypt and sha multiports!

Same here. Shares are accepted according to bfgminer, but nothing is showing in the pool. Help, Flound!

How does your site know which sha256 is profitable? Your site says PPC is 1.12 Coinotron say's 1.18
Your site TRC 0.96 Coinotron 1.03
Both use the seem exchange vircurex.

flound uses an average of a bunch of different exchanges to calculate current values, so his calculations will be different than other sites that use only one exchange.

Coin Hashrate Time Rate (/BTC) Profitability PPC 1018.1 GH/s 0h0m 0.001743 1.08 (MP) BTC 1232.3 GH/s 0h0m 1.000000 1.00 Interesting...

I bought a few block erupters a few days ago, hopefully I'll get them early next week. Then I'll be pointing an extra 2GH/s at the bitcoin pool, gotta find a block!!! I just think it's awesome how that half a year ago it would have host me like $500 (if I used 5970's) and would have taken over 600W to get 2GH/s with GPU's, now it cost me 0.2 BTC for 6 of them and it should only take around 30W connected to an RPi.

We found a PPC block earlier today, it's in the wallet but the gettransactions script is throwing an error. I won't have time to look into this in detail for a couple hours, but we have found a block so if anyone was worrying you can stop I'll be fixing this issue and adding PPC to the multiport later tonight.
