Monitoring shows everything up.  What exact host and port are you connecting to?

I'm setting up guiminer script, in the password section should I leave it blank? or should I use the website password?

You can use anything for the password, it isn't checked.  You need to have something there though or stratum will barf.

I use the stratum ports that are listed on home page.. same as I always have.. I have not changed anything hence why I am mentioning it.  These connection issues are more than likely related to whatever has been happening over the last few days.. just thought I would throw in my experience.  good luck getting it running smooth again.



Edit:  I also noticed that Stratum multi sha does not stick to my set difficulty, it seems to be vardiff (kept jumping around)..

Hi,
I have some 12 machines connecting to your pool.
2 or 3 of them cannot connect anymore.
I connect from Romania, Europe.
I use both pools (eu and us) . EU is primary, and US is backup pool
I am connecting using stratum with all clients

Yep my worldcoin connected again.. My friends stratum scrypt multi could not connect for last few days either.. I will check on that tomorrow.

Just noticed that CGminer has ditched support for scrypt saying its not worth it over sha256... In case anyone else was planning to upgrade, I believe its 3.8 that removed scrypt.  Hows that for a big middle finger to the altcoin community?

.. and here is a little update for us BFG miners users :

NEW VERSION 3.6.0, NOVEMBER 12 2013

3.6 is only pulling in updates from cgminer 3.8.1, notably including the Klondike driver, which I hope to rewrite eventually. Please note that scrypt support is now officially unmaintained since Con has decided to remove it from cgminer. Any interested parties who want to see scrypt remain supported should step up to maintain it sooner rather than later, or I may just remove it at some point. Hashfast and TechnoB⃦it drivers are still planned, but not in this release yet (cgminer's Hashfast driver is not usable for BFGMiner).

A couple weeks after he claimed scrypt wouldn't be removed for "at least a year"?

We're still under DOS attack on the mining ports.  I will be implementing a more permanent fix for this tonight.

I really hope so- the problems persists for me on FTC, WDC, and DGC.  And the pool spends so much time on FTC (blech) and WDC that even if I do manage to hop into the pool, one of those coins soon kicks me right back out.

We've found and paid out blocks within the last 2 hours...  Are you seeing accepted shares?

connectivity should be better going forward on US pools.  Also, I have added a hard limit of 25 connections per IP address.  If you need to exceed this, please contact me so I can whiltelist you.
