I just built a 7x5970 miner and installed Windows 8.1 to break the Win7 limitation of only 4 of the same card. But, I cannot get cgminer 3.7.2 to run with even one card plugged in. I've tried Catalyst 12.8, 13.1 and 13.9. When I launch cgminer it lists the pools and then maybe compiles the scrypt executable, or not, but just hangs, often freezing Win8.1 requiring a reboot. I've searched around and the references I've found imply how easy it is. Does anybody know what I should try or have a link to a good Windows 8.1 mining setup page TIA 7X5970 means 14 GPU core. I heard that Windows 8 only supports 8 GPU. Does W8.1 support 14 GPU? Can you run with 3.2.1?

But, I still could not get even one 5970 by itself to run. I have 3x7970s plus 4x7870s installed now and Windows 8.1 is only recognizing 3 Pitcairns and 2 Tahitis. No idea why. What's 3.2.1

Is adding BBQ Coin support on the list? If not, can we get it there? M

The values for confirmed/unconfirmed have not changed for more than 24 hours while mining the ppc port. Everything appears to be working fine here, lots of shares accepted and the usual log chatter from the pool. My speed shows on multipool.us, but again, no unconfirmed/confirmed shares appear for the effort.
I just switched over to TRC port and saw immediate unconfirmed results. But mining the PPC port results in no reward appearing on your site.
Please look into it.

Shares move from accepted to Unconfirmed when the pool finds a block. A PPC block has not been found for 57 hours. https://www.multipool.us/stats.php?curr=ppc

Is anyone else loosing connection to the pool?
Regularly. Both US and EU. It goes down then comes back up a little bit later. Payouts are occurring regularly for most currencies for me as well, except CAP. M

M Seems like it was more stable before the server migration. From the news on the site: Dec 14 3:01 AM Our provider is having network issues in their SF datacenter.. Connectivity to US pools may not be working at the moment.
Dec 13 10:27 PM The DB maintenance is complete and all pools are back to normal. The web interface is a bit laggy now due to the latency between it and the new DB server. We will be building a new web server in NYC tonight to address this. Payouts are still being run manually so they may take longer than normal.

Everything should be back to normal now (pool-wise) and I've resolved the performance issue that was making the site run slowly.

Hey gang trying to sort out what is going wrong for me. I was mining LTC but decided to switch to multipool. All I did was change the pool settings in my cgminer.conf file to multipool. It connects but my speed is less than half what I was getting in litecoinpool across my 4 cards. Anything I should be looking to change? Not sure why it would drop like that.

The stated hashrate on the multipool website swings wildly all over the place. It seems to have a hard time showing anything close to real time hash rate. As long as the average hashrate is about normal, and your payout is about normal, I wouldn't be concerned. M

Sorry I'm saying my miner hashrate in cgminer is less than half, not what the site is reporting.

Yep, copied my existing conf file to a new file. Named to ltc one to .old, and changed the parameters to point to multipool in the new one.
