It seems many people are having issues modifying their straps with older GPUs using Hex Editor. I literally had about 50-60 PMs people BEGGING for me to modify their bios. I stopped doing it because it was time consuming. I will post the GPUs I currently have which I am using.

I am getting very close to 300 Sol/s on each of my 7950 / 7970 / 280x using these straps with Claymore 11 .
I am getting very close to 350Sol/s on each of my Reference R9 290 (1100/1450) using STILT BIOS mods with Claymore 11.

Just flash these straps at your own risk, if you have no idea what you are doing, then leave this thread now. I assume NO RESPONSIBILITY if you brick your GPU, messed up your memory chips, etc. YOU HAVE TO MAKE SURE YOU HAVE THE CORRECT MEMORY. ELPIDA WONT WORK WITH HYNIX STRAPS.

These straps are basically modified with these timings

HYNIX AFR or MFR

I set the memory clock lower so you can increase into the higher straps if you aren't having stability problems.

The straps are

1375 MHz (1001-1375 MHz) - AFR 1000MHz Memory Timings, tight
1550 MHz (1376-1550 MHz) - AFR 1125MHz Memory Timings, tight
1700 MHz (1551-1700 MHz) - modified AFR 1250MHz Memory Timings by The Stilt, tight
1900 MHz (1701-1900 MHz) - modified AFR 1375MHz Memory Timings by The Stilt, tight

So start at 1400Mhz, if it works try 1575 and see which is better. Even try 1701 but I doubt it will be much faster.

ASUS R9 280X with HYNIX AFR memory

https://mega.nz/#!zwl1WDIa!kLFqZgCkMPiH1DOQe3Rg3FbQHpXZN-xq_CdmREBha04

Slight undervolt to 1.075V, 1070/1600.
MSI Might say 1375 for mem but its 1600 since I didn't update the previous DPM field in VBE.

ASUS 7970 with HYNIX MFR memory

Slight undervolt. 1100/1400.
Try running at 1575 Mem, I had one GPU lock up at that mem freq so I am leaving it lower at 1400.

https://mega.nz/#!m08FhDgL!D_AhbYCZfPNZTzXct7vU6u-DJpEEb_8mLMc0OtJfBl8

GIGABYTE 7950 with HYNIX AFR Memory

Slight undervolt. 1000/1400.
Try running at 1100/1575.

https://mega.nz/#!L5N1kIzQ!Cabi7Cg_wO91jMzk9lKmsB5pfZXNKTggBjMetNgZrIQ

GIGABYTE 7970 with HYNIX AFR Memory

Slight undervolt. 1050/1400.
Try running at 1100/1575.

https://mega.nz/#!Do1GlbYb!-fohVnHB2Fk04BNDTmznQwGovXWBX7fd8ZmlVG9aaw0

Gigabyte 280x and Elpida EDW2032BBBG

https://mega.nz/#!K9l3jDCT!z8tmV57GkU6JEHxgaZhkOdCMMS09XF9a0z5YJfyyZJg

MSI 280X HYNIX MEMORY

https://mega.nz/#!XgUkHITB!OfyjihtlhHgi5Mk3fYPr-w3EbB1qXsVt0BB5r66EJew

Downclocked to 1000/1400. If its stable keep increasing until 1100/1575.

MBA_C6711101-100_K2_AGR_STILTMP_V48.zip (DPM7 - 1.1000V)

The recommended memory frequency is 1375MHz - 1450MHz for Elpida and 1375MHz - 1475MHZ for Hynix.

Start with the lowest voltage and move your way up if its unstable. If you are lazy just flash with the highest voltage.

You can also remove your backplate in your R9 290 and it will run cooler and quieter try following.

NO DONT USE THAT ONE.

You can try the Gigabyte 7970 one, since I had a Gigabyte 7970 and I flashed a Gigabyte 280x bios on it and it worked in the past. NO IDEA if flashing an 7970 bios on a 280x will work. You might brick one of your bios. Do it at your own risk. You got dual bios at least.

With the newer Claymore miners you guys might have to either run them at lower clocks like 1000/1400 or up the voltage.

When I created these miners they were stable for V2.1 but with his new optimizations some GPUs crash at 1100/1575

Maybe you can share "Tahiti GDDR5 Identifier"? ASUS Radeon MemoryInfo 1.005 shows info only for primary gpu.
