FRAUD ALERT.
I signed up for bitconnect.co and they literally stole my money and refuse to give it back. This entire site is a complete scam, if you give them money, they will probably just steal it. I am considering filing a criminal complaint against them.

How did it go for you? Is it a significant sum? were you trying to withdraw after your capital release?

In theory if the price dropped 97% to $5 only the holders of the coin would lose value, the lenders get paid in USD to convert to BCC or BTC from the original loan, and also the interest. Unless they go belly up and disappear.

Unfortunately! The faster people realise, the less amount of people that will be scammed and the less amount of damage done to the crypto industry. When a "top 10" crypto coin turns out to be a Ponzi, it will effect market sentiment negatively.

I think you need to clarify what exchange you are trying to withdraw your 90k if it is from their internal exchange, then you should contact their support immediately, the people have the right to know especially now that bitconnectcoin is becoming so popular and many people are now investing here.

Why do people bother writing this stuff with no details? There have been no complaints about bitconnect lately. They have plenty of BCC to pay people with, they have been accumulating more and more of it.

You could say we're the ones who created the Beach Sand which the token is pegged to. TBC, Beach Sand is scarce - there is ONLY so much of it, a limited supply. Our number one promoter, Jrevon Tames, has already amassed enough BSC to build his dream castle:

Well, let me show you some proof of how bitconnect's ponzi works.
While I agree that it's a Ponzi, I don't think your proof is valid. Following what happens to the tokens on the blockchain doesn't prove anything. An analogy: I deposited $10 into my bank savings account yesterday. The bank told me they would keep it and that it would earn interest. But I had glued a tiny tracking device to the $10 and to my surprise they gave it to the next customer who came in and made a withdrawal! This is proof that they are a scam. They said they would invest my $10 but they gave it to a different customer. See what I did there? The individual $10 isn't what matters, in the same way as tracing your deposits on the blockchain isn't what matters.

Following what happens to the tokens on the blockchain doesn't prove anything.
it proves they are not converting it to bitcoin or put it in any bot, which they claim. all lending does is freezing the bcc so that they cant be sold to make the price rise. maybe ponzi isnt even the right word for it, since you have to buy a new coin in order to "invest". in a ponzi, you invest the currency you already have and get paid the same currency back. if the coin didnt exist, and they only claimed to have a bitcoin bot, you would have to give them bitcoins, and inturn get paid bitcoins. (like the control finance scam, that was a ponzi by definition.) thinking about it, its more of a -get the price high- system, so they can sell their premined coins for a huge profit and give the lenders peanuts ("interest") compared to it. but still, they are not touching their own bcc and using the bcc of lenders to pay out said interest. this can only go so long as long as new people keep lending, cause as soon as the price drops, they will have to pay out more bcc to pay out the interest (since the interest is calculated in usd), which they will eventually run out of - but before that happens, i suppose the site will suddenly vanish from existence. comparing it to a bank, you dont have to buy any customized bank token beforehand in order to invest. banks pay you interest cause they use the money you give (and yes, it might not be directly the exact same notes you deposit) to give out loans, which they charge a higher interest rate for.

Is it possible that other lending sites like regal or western coin are from the same people? Sites look the same as bitconnect

Oppose to BTC-e 2.0 consisting of different people under the guise of being one and the same sans its leader in custody? Or like Bitmixer.io, which I was instrumental in it going dark, where its clones are most likely run by the dude behind BM who supposedly shut down the original because his priest told him to? Personally, I'm waiting for the day when VISA partners with BitConnect because its CEO is a complete unknown who once - but not anymore - had an office in a shared work space in the UK, and is currently behind in filing required paperwork for its charter. Still waiting for a link depicting BitConnect's bitcoin bot so that I can release my next volley (or is it Bazinga!?).

Not sure how far down you wanna go but I found this one on the Net ... ... just add water and voilà!, a modestly sized pool. Diving board not included but a base for such is clearly in place.

I hope they will be back soon. I am guessing if the trend of upward movement continues then Bitconnect will take over Bitcoincash in value what you all think, the rally has just begun or is going to collapse soon?
