Luke I have a question. I am using BFGminer 3.10.0 and when I am running my GPUs  on scrypt. Some times when I start them they are starting wrong showing GHS instead of KHS. Looks like SHA256 instead of scrypt. Any way to fix this other them watching it start and if it breaks restart the miner. Thanks
Give it time, it just got lucky...

So basically set it and forget it. Self correcting. The only reason I asked is this is the first time using BFG miner for GPUs. I usually use it for gridseeds. Keep up the good work by the way. Thanks

2 common errors:

- wrong parameters or extra or missing "-"

- already running; check processes

If you're using a batch file, make a new line and add the word "Pause" but without the quotations:

Example:

bfgminer -o stratum+tcp://stratum.btcguild.com:3333 -u user -p password -S all --icarus-options 115200:1:1 --icarus-timing 3.0=100
Pause

That will tell you what the problem is before it closes out.

BFG will run without the icarus timings.
Try the batch file like this:-
bfgminer.exe -o http://stratum.bitcoin.cz:3333 -u worker1 -p password1 -S erupter:all

It's been a while since I've used block erupters and I forgot all about the -S erupter:all call

Luke is there a bug with bfgminer 3.99.0 as using nf2 on this and when I get a disconnect from the stratum it never reconnects again unless I restart it. Doesn't have this problem with v3.10.0 but this version doesn't support multi chip

Cheers

I don't know if this question has been asked before because I'm kinda new to the forums (not new to mining). I am using BFGMINER as a proxy for my 8 blades and 2 cubes and was wondering if its possible to use comma separated values in the username (-u) as in ... -u user1,user2,user3  and so on and would that also work in the password field ...the reason I am asking is that I want to be able to monitor each card or cube as separate workers in my mining pools dashboard so I don't have to keep the teamviewer window running all the time on my desktop. I also have 6 antminer S1s that I just watch from browser tabs (much cleaner) ...I am just trying to clear up some of my desktop clutter ...nothing like having to have 6 windows open all the time ...and that way I can stop relying on team viewer since it crashes like 5 times a day Sad ...

You may need to tell the program what to look for in the "enter target" line. antminer:all   erupter:all   opencl:all  I can't tell by your post what you have.

Any details on the chips they are using? If they are using the GridSeed GC3355 chips or derivatives then BFGMiner 3.99 or 4.0 should work. If they are using newly designed chips, the hardware folks need to get in touch with BFGMiner devs.

Maybe it has been discussed here before, but I couldnt find where.

Besides [D]isabling and [E]nabling an Antminer, is there a way for BFGMiner to restart or reset an AMU from scratch, thus expliciting the 0981 freq again?

Thanks

No, it's only in git so far. When 4.0 is released, it will be in there.
You can get Windows builds of the latest git from my webserver.

Thanks!

I was always interested but till now never asked. Is there any advantage in 64 bit version over 32 bit one?
