Sounds like it's fried...probably should upgrade and spend .053 BTC on a 2 GH/s usb miner here: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=382494.0 I've gotten 5 of them from the guy...he's quick and it takes just 2 or 3 days to get your stuff... I've seen things like this and thinking about it, but have you seen where to but it in Europe? get another hub, or hub psu, it's not providing enough power for 2 devices
So putting the erupters back to computer's usb ports will solve the problem, too? Why is sending something from the US to EU so hard? Can't FedEx or UPS it?

It's not hard, but the shipping cost may be twice as much as the device itself Hm, after disconnecting hub and connecting one erupter, bfgminer doesn't start... what it can be?

If you're specifying COM ports, it'll get confused...just add a line and put pause at the end to see what bfgminer says

i put only sudo bfgminer -S erupter:all -o stratum+tcp://pt.ispace.co.uk:3353 -u user.worker -p pass into the terminal it worked before now I get: Started bfgminer 3.9.0 and nothing is going on

Now I cant hit "M" because bfgminer stops at the communicate, that it is starting. EDIT: I've rebooted the computer, put both erupters as before: directly to the usb ports in the computer, and it runs No icarus options needed.

2. Is it normal that they show as Icarus?
Yes, you need to pass in -S erupter:all in order to have them detected as a Block Erupter Must I do it or may I leave them being recognised as Icarus? Does it change anything from practical point of view? 3. BFGminer doesn't show me the temperature, what to do to have it shown?
Block Erupters do not report their temperature. Ok... I have a radiator and it is a bit warm in the place it touches erupters (not hot) - I hope it's sufficient cooling? erupter or icarus its only a name at this level. If you have any other devices then you can name them, but then you need -S erupter all -S otherdevice all A small USB fan for some cooling is helpful. Hey, I have the problem with 2 erupters on a usb hub...What to do? Wouldn't it be nice if things just worked the way you expected them to? Alas, that is not the world we live in!
Today's example:
Received (4) more Antminer U1s in today's mail. Had a machine all ready and tested, running 2, with free slots and a nicely cooled powered USB hub just waiting for them.
Unpacked, allowed them to warm to room temp, shutdown bfgminer on the machine and plugged them in. Restarted bfgminer and got a segmentation fault (and a hung ssh window).
Backed down to 2 and it works fine. Added one more and it seg faulted.
Grabbed the hub, loaded it with 5 Antminers, and plugged it into machine #2, cranked up bfgminer there, and all was well (until the hub power supply gave up)
Tried 3 on machine #3 and it had no problem.
So...
#1 Any suggestion on what might be wrong on machine #1?
#2 (rather far down on my list) Any suggestion for a better USB hub? This was in InlandPro 7 port. I've confirmed it was the 2000mamp power supply that died. Maybe just a suggestion for decent 5V power supply?
BTW - all three machines were freshly reinstalled with Gentoo Linux within the past couple of weeks. All are using bfgminer 3.10.0 pulled from Github.
Thanks all! Hi ho, hi ho... its off to mine we go!

I already have completed (untested) code for the Monarch over USB. I plan to begin on PCI-e when I get back from the Bitcoin conference in Miami. Note PCI-e mode might require Linux 3.6+ for VFIO support.

Hi all =) I'm a pretty noob linux, so please be patient =)
I'm setting up a little rig with 1xR9 280X toxic, using ubuntu 13.10. I'm using the AMD driver ("updates" version). Two questions: 1) My first problem is the downvolting: I'm trying to use --gpu-vddc , but changing it the watt consume doesn't change.. (I'm using a watt-meter). Do I need to unlock something in the driver?
2) If I unplug the video cable, the hashrate drop to 300... I read on the web I need a fake dvi: is there any way to avoid it?
thanks =)

README.FPGA, particularly about Zadig/WinUSB being required for X6500 (despite the FTDI chip, it isn't a VCOM device)

Apologies for what I am sure is a really daft question but I cannot find the answer anywhere.
I am currently using a single Antminer U1 with Bfgminer, no issues at all.
I am awaiting delivery of two more U1s, when they arrive do I need to setup a worker for each U1 or can they all "share" the same worker?
If i do need separate workers for each, what is the correct syntax for the bfg command line please?

If you plug in all three sticks wait for the driver to find them and restart BFG they should all show up. If you want to run each in a separate session, plug in one stick, then start BFG. plug in your next stick, then start another session of BFG. ........ etc.

Anyone here using RPi with Yellowjacket nanofury?
On bfgminer 3.10.0 (win7), Yellowjacket runs fine.
On RPi(Minepeon), I have compiled the 3.10.0, but it does not detect the 4 x Yellowjackets. cgminer detects and runs them, but I get failure after running for 30 minutes.
I am using a powered hub 5V 4A max output.
Are there additional switches or options that I need to include when compiling 3.10.0 in Arch Linux(I think Minepeon is running on top of Arch Linux)?
Would appreciate any help here.
Thanks.
