Today we have been in Budapest, Hungary. On our nearly one week river cruise (Bavaria, Austria and Budapest), I have seen ZERO Bitcoin signs or ads (course I do not see many in the USA either).
Also, I have been with my family doing tourism, not BTC stuff...
I have been able to find gold and even platinum (latter in Vienna) in central Europe with no problem.
Tomorrow we are off to Prague, a much more friendly BTC place I read (Slush). I'll poke around and see what I can find.

This is worth reading for. Bitcoin has been globally popular in many countries. I think one of the friendly countries is Philippines. Pinoy has been easily adopt the use of bitcoin. One of the country has its fond to use it, because of its easy use, easy to understand the process of bitcoin.

It's not ban in the Philippines and there's no law yet about bitcoin so that would make your statement correct. We are here because the competition is fair and the outcome of our venture would always depend on our effort. Bitcoin will surely give us benefits if we stay with it and live with it. Honestly, it's my new world now.

Huh in Canada it's just looked at as intangible. I'm reading up on it more now. I never really thought of the different legality for different countries. I'm curious to see what I'm doing right or wrong.

After reading this question Immediately 3 Names appeared on my Mind.
1: China 2: Brazil 3: USA
China have the largest bitcoin mining and miner's equipments.. Brazil have the most shops, hotels and restaurant accepting bitcoin. and USA is also a large amount of bitcoin accepted country.
Agree with your point of view. For miners China is definitely at the top, now since China has most miners then it most likely dominates in number of users also。USA has the largest number of bitcoin users for sure.

For those who are jobless then its really a new world since we could able to get income on bitcoin world.Same as yours i do live on Philippines and i could really say bitcoin is really helpful especially on some expenses on my daily living. You really need to do hard work before you could able to earn same as having a day job but bitcoin earnings is much better. I dont think government on our country would ban bitcoin.

I agree to those people who said that Singapore is the most friendly countries when it comes to bitcoin, because Asians people are the people who is grabbing the opportunities that will give benefits to them, they are open-minded in short. Bitcoin is very popular around the world so for me, the most friendly countries when we are talking about bitcoin is those big countries like America, and so on.

Indian interest in Bitcoin has skyrocketed following sudden rupee reforms, revealing serious potential to challenge major markets including China. On India bitcoins be considered as new gold the government ban import gold from other countries, it mean bitcoins replace gold.

you dont say that America belongs to bitcoin friendly country ,IRS gave statement last time that they legally want to pursue tax collection to people from America using Coinbase platform they want all information about them and to track their transaction how come you said that they are one of the friendliest bitcoin country so your comment is invalid.

Indeed because i heard about that new on which they impose taxes and thats really a bad news for those bitcoins users who are in america and i could really say that they are not bitcoin friendly but still we could able to hide our transaction by using another wallet there are lots of choices.

Which country has most number of bitcoin users, miners and vendors? And in which country bitcoin is accepted the most? Like in at institutes or super malls or stores etc. Has such data been calculated and available on the world wide web?
I would think that the most amount of users and miners would be a split between the United States and China. I feel that the US has more users but China has far more miners than the US. There are many Bitcoin friendly countries in the world, most countries have rules and regulations about it and others don't have any regulations on the use of Bitcoin. There are even some very unfriendly countries that will put you in jail if you are caught transacting Bitcoin.

Another friendly country is Netherlands, Great Britain, Japan. Unfriendly Countries are Russia, Bangladesh, Jordon and so on. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Legality_of_bitcoin_by_countryBangladesh, In September 2014, Bangladesh Bank said that "anybody caught using the virtual currency could be jailed under the country's strict anti-money laundering laws". Jordan,The government of Jordan has issued a warning discouraging the use of bitcoin and other similar systems.

I guess, well, it has to be China. Its the one with the biggest user base of bitcoins. No use arguing otherwise. Then there is USA, and I've heard that Switzerland is also pretty tolerant to bitcoins. Japan is also one the the friendly countries.
China wins the trophy due to the largest mining industry and usage.
