Hi everyone,
A user of our community has created a community driven Slack for us, and for the time being we've decided it's a good place to start building out community. To join, sign up a disposable email at
http://mailnesia.com/ and then visit
https://vidztoken.slack.com/signup to join!
Tomorrow, we'll be opening up Twitter registration. If you participated in the Twitter bounties, you'll need to sign up an account on
http://purevidz.net if you haven't already. Once Twitter registration is enabled, we'll post instructions on how to attach your Twitter to your account via open authentication. Twitter registration will be enabled for 10 days, and then after this we'll be verifying those who signed up for authenticity and eligibility for the bounties. The entire process should take about 12-14 days. Any VIDZ earned from the bounty will be paid directly to your PureVidz account.
Follow us on Twitter
@PureVidz for quick news updates and for the latest movie/tv content added.
Thanks.
Just added a one month tipping slot for vidz on Cryptopia, enjoy.
Thanks, we appreciate the support on Cryptopia we've received so far!
QUESTION:
When will the fully finished, polished and pimping purevidz be launched?
Dev any news about vidz integration into the website?
Pure Vidz is an on going project. There's no real 'finished' goal in mind. However, so far we think we've done a pretty good job of following the road map outlined in the opening post. Before February, we hope to have some more of the key features such as VIDZ integration added to the infrastructure. After our first major update, we'll be looking to update the roadmap with our future plans ahead.
We agree, and as such we've updated our title and will be aiming to draw more attention to that term.

How many vidz are expected to be given out for the twitter bounty. Id like to know so I have a better understanding of how many free vidz will be out there.
It's hard to say, but we'll have this information published in about 10 days after we close Twitter sign ups.
Aren't all the movies and shows here actually torrents in the background? So, anything you find on any other torrent site, with a few hundred seeders, and a few thousand leechers, in the proper format (mp4 or whatever it must be) can actually be submitted and suddenly anyone can stream it ?
So, for the bounty hunters, all they really need to do is scour their regular show supplier, or "the most resilient in the galaxy" ....
As long as it meets the criteria of the proper video and audio encoding it can be submitted
As a reminder, the content being submitted must be of the file type *.mp4 with h264 video encoding and AAC audio encoding.
I really wish there would be support for .avi and .mkv
Unfortunately, this is something not entirely covered within the scope of our project at this time. HTML5 video playback requires the audio/video encoding that we specify and there's no intent that we're aware of for support of avi/mkv in HTML6. We're trying to avoid having to resort to things such as browser plugins such as Flash for maximum compatibility.
