What is your exit point? Where will you sell your coins? How much % of your stack will you sell?

Actually, it depends on how much profit do you want and how long do you want it to hold. Basically, if you're going to buy a certain coin, you must set a target profit and also a stop loss. If you are a short time trader, 3%-50% will do. If you are a long term trader (investor), 50% and above will be your target profit. Always remember that set your stop loss in order for you to avoid being rekt.
If you want to stop loss from the begin, sell it immediately when it loss 5% in a day you buy it or 10% is better. But if the profit is reaching to 15% or 20% is the moment you have to sell it. Cause if you're trying to earn profit for living day by day you have to play safe. Don't be greedy , greed will kill you.

i think stop loss may get you in trouble with a volatile market and a strong coin like bitcoin. A stop loss order made when bitcoin was 5000 at 3000 may get you in trouble if bitcoin will be more than 5000 in the near future. I agree that stop loss it's a must but i think bitcoin is the exception from the rule

But Upto me.Current price of bitcoin is around the value of 3700$.Now the past two days, the price of bitcoin is stable at the value of 3700$.So you can expect the price of bitcoin to reach the value of 4500$.This the correct time to inverse in bitcoin so.you will get Very good profit.

As part of my investment, I wouldn't sell my bitcoins as of the moment since I'm looking forward for a long term one. Though we can't say in times of fortuitous event, I would probably withdraw my btc. Health plays a high priority for me, especially when it comes to my family and parents.

We have both in common i only sell a part of my bitcoin if an emergency occur or if i need the money to spend it on important matters but as much as possible i hold or not sell my bitcoin. No one can tell when the bitcoin will burst to it's high price or lower price. If we take risk we will gain or lose. Remember if the price is going down no need to panic or used it again to buy low price bitcoins.
Same thing as mine. I also sell my bitcoin when im in totally need of cash, but as long as I can provide my needs without taking the risk of selling my bitcoin i would never sell it. I make it as investment, i wanted it to grow,  but the price of bitcoin is changing, unpredictable and maybe if the price of selling price of bitcoin set high, well maybe i'll considered about selling my BTC.

I think the right time to sell our bitcoins is 10 years from now. I have read an article that the bitcoin will become $50,000 per each 10 years from now. So it is better to keep our coins and sell it in the near future.

I consider 10 years too risky and long term for investments. Many may not live to see this time, or someone very much needs money and can not keep all of their coins for 10 years.

I can't keep my coins for that very long time, I always spend to cover my daily expenses so it is best to have more source of income for you to be able divide your earnings in different financial status. I sell my coins everytime I need money like now, I rent a room for myself and bought some things.

make a target for your invest. then just wait price reach that target and sell. dont try to hold longer. many people lost because their greed
A very wise way of making some real profits! The most common line that we all keep on hearing from here and there in the world of traders is "buy at low prices, sell at high ones". If someone buys bitcoins today, he must shoe patience when the price is falling down and as soon as the value gain is above 300 dollars of what he paid, he must sell out some of his amount.

I have long understood the fact that you can not be greedy. I sell when the price of a coin is 7 percent. Sometimes I put an order for a smaller profit. It's enough for me

Today is not yet the right time to sell our bitcoins. Maybe tomorrow or next year is the best time to sell our bitcoins. We will gain 300% if we sell our bitcoin in the future.

I also support this strategy and applying it with my coins especially bitcoins. It is highly prudent to set your target and whenever your coins touch it, don’t waste more time in order to have more profit because greed can put you in deep regret and loss. I always set my targets with bitcoin and at present I am holding bitcoins because want them to touch 5k dollars.

I too expected this price last month only, and the price also went up to $5k and dropped. When it was above $4.5k if I sell my bitcoins means i can make some money that time. But I become greedy, and now I need urgent money to pay my credit card bill, so I am selling my bitcoins for the present price it almost $1k loss for 1 bitcoin.

I plan to sell in about 20-30 years whenever the price has reached trillions as that is how much debt there is in this world. By then Bitcoin will be the world's reserve currency.

All of us have a hope and faith about the increasing of value of the bitcoin. So we all know that it is better to keep our bitcoins in our wallet and sell it in the near future.

If my coins is available in trading sites, it's better if the coin you are holding is available in all trading sites. I will check if the value of my coin is rising then I would trade it if the price is high. I know that my coin will be available soon in etherdelta so that I could trade it then.

Right now with the current price of bitcoin, selling is not my option. Since more good news are coming and negative vibes that attacked bitcoin this past few weeks(see my date of post) was just ignored by bitcoins price. The strength that it shows is my signal to buy more as long as i have fiat to convert in bitcoins. Idealistically, bitcoin might hit $25k or more in next 5 to 10 years. So you wouldn't want to let that chances to just past by without taking a risk.

Yeah I agree with you. But for me, my benchmark is when it touches ATH I immediately convert some of my coins into fiat. Of course I want to taste the sweetness of it so cashing out a little is still reasonable for me but I put it to my bank savings. Like we can really tell that we're rich if all our money is in the crypto, right? Grin

For now I have no plans on selling my coins yet, I'm still waiting for the thread to go up and I'm still observing the market if the coin that I invest in will make profit, then if it shows good profit maybe I'm gonna sell about 50% or just the amount of which I have invested with. But for now, I have no plans of selling my coins yet.

I selling it when i have make 100% of my total bankroll and then buy again in low price. The point is buy when low and buy when high. It looks like very risk but we will get advantage from it.

If you can consistently do that then surely making money is easy with you, in order to do the right timing you need to fully focus on the market, read some news and make sure you are updated. When there is a dump it's the best way to buy the price but to aim for 100% increase, I guess it does not happen instantly but you still belong to a strategy of short term holding.
