Personally, i think this is the hardest thing to do with gambling, otherwise if it was easy all gamblers will win so much money, and to control greed on gambling there is one and only one way which is the experience !

Damn true. We all make plans but only few of us stick to them. It happens with me a lot. Looks like I am a spoiled brat but it is true. I gamble more than I plan to and it happens daily. I don't know how to resolve it but now I have joined karate classes so that I don't have time to go back to gambling.

If one is not careful before placing a bet they can misjudge the outcome and make mistakes - though all mistakes are not avoidable but at least one can control emotions to stop making a wrong decision. The player is solely responsible for their greed and if they are greedy then they must control it. Many people have been greedy in gambling in the past and ended up being broke. This is the way I think to control greed in gambling which is to make it is as a mode of entertainment rather than for making money because if the aim is to make money then you cannot avoid to be greedy because you wanted more and more cause that's the purpose. When you lose, you will naturally wanted to get it back so you gamble more and since your emotions is heighten because of the losing streaks then you cannot decide rationally which can lead to more losses. If the opposite happens that you won and then greediness strikes in which you will think what if you will have winning streaks so you will be rich soon if that happens. It's just never ending which can lead to gambling addiction and ended up being broke.

Making gambling as a fun or a source of entertainment is somehow acceptable, but for that too the reason behind should be to get away from this addiction. Many people gamble just for the day routine as hobby, some play for money. So you better said, if someone plays for money greed is there as a natural fact we have.

Those who cant control themselves from gambling even when they have reached a set goal need treatment and the support of their family since they are seriously addicted and need to look after themselves. These people must not be allowed to gamble because it will only harm themselves or their family. There are people who can control their emotions and thus they dont have problems with gambling habits.

Totally agree with you, this is the best way how to control greed on gambling or anything, if we have a wish to get low amount of profit when gambling. it will make us aware that there is still tomorrow, because almost all of the gambler realize that he has greed, that's when they've lost their winning money.

It is very hard and alot of people keep falling on the same hole everytime even when they already know not to be greedy with that. I was like that as well until I lose everything and regretted my mistake. I change into gambling for fun and atleast that could help me to save nowadays I dont have to worry about losing everything

That is true. We always do plan ahead, however during the play we forget this plan and we lose our cool. We deposit some more or bet to reckless.

Well there are people who have made a fortune with gambling even if they are few in number - that acts like a stimulant to the potential gambling addicts and they tend to follow those people as well. gambling are always about how people get the money doubled easily and lost it all at the same time easily. and in the proccess there is an emotion that could determine whether are you gonna be profitable or not (in short term), but mostly can't deal with the greedy inside of you properly. actually pretty simple when you deal with the emotion especially greedy , just think about the worst scenario if you keep following your greed.

Greed to control is very difficult, because gambling offers the opportunity to get money in an easy way. I, too, sometimes can not cope with this opportunity to get money.

It's easy to control. You either are greedy as a person or not.
I'm not greedy, never had a problem with it and never had a problem with stopping a game after winning a couple games in a row. I'd say it's because i'm poor and afraid of losing too much money.
