In gambling there's always a greed specially when you win so much you think that you're lucky enough because of those earnings but dip inside you are being greed and hoping that it will doubled or tripled your profit. Its hard to control greed specially when you're in the position of hoping for more profit, i control greed every time it hit my target profit, i will stop on that because for me profit is profit.

That's why it's helpful to set a limit on what you can deposit say during a week and never go above that limit. Thus you will enjoy gambling without losing to it more than you can afford. It's hard to do at first, especially for an addicted gambler, but if you'll manage to do it your life will change for better.
That could be a good thing to do, set your limits in order for you not to lose all. You need to have a self discipline learn to have a limit, if you have been done that for many times and for top long you are now have a control in yourself. And just be contended in every winnings in that case you may avoid greediness and you may be so happy with it. I think it's very important to learn how to enjoy even the smallest winnings and after winning a bit to not try to win more. That's how people lose because of their greed, they want to more and more and thus they lose everything eventually. |

Thats the attitude mate even in a small earnings thats still earnings and being greed should be control wisely sometimes it helps but most of the time its just ruin your bankroll apart of being greed gambling should be done wisely never the less it will bring us profits in the long run after we control everything. |

I have experience in gambling (casino), somtime i hit big only with faucet or free money and i can withdraw from that. but because my greed i always want more and more, then i'll come again with my money as bankroll. Bet more and hope win more, but because of that i'll lose my money little by little and usually i'll stop after my bankroll to be "0". I call that with greed.
Anyone here have any suggestion to control my greed? Let me know.
For my suggestion, make a plan and altetnative plans before gambling. Once you made up your plan already, stick with it so your emotioj won't interfere. If you feel that it's not effective, then go with your alternative plan so your greediness won't triggered as you are in control when you have a plan. |

For my suggestion, make a plan and altetnative plans before gambling. Once you made up your plan already, stick with it so your emotioj won't interfere. In which cases should people be divided into categories, because not every player is guided by greed when playing gambling. Before I go gambling so that I can control my greed to gamble.I should be relax and set my mind to play the game.I should be ready because without controling my self people may hate me because of that bad behaviour.I should trait people good sorrounds me so that I can do gamble peaceful and especially I should have the self control always.

We can't. People think that you have to remain calm or whatever in order to control your greed. But in reality, you're going to be consumed by your insatiable wants as a human. That's our nature. Just take freedom for example. It is said that in a democratic country, the people has the power. There are people that didn't understand such thing. They thought that it means that their freedom finally has the sky as the limit. They thought that they can do whatever they want because the power is in the people and not the government. It's not like that.
In gambling, you're going to have some profit at some point but you're never going to stop there since you'd want more than that. You've made 1$? Suddenly you want 2 more dollars. You've successfully made 2 more dollars, suddenly you want 5 more dollars. And so on. There's no cure in this. We're just humans and rejecting our traits is futile.

For me, it is very easy to control my greed because all I need to do is to set a goal for my winnings and profit and after I reached to that point then I will just withdraw my profits there and get back with the base capital and gamble again and I will just repeat the cycle until I earn enough for me and I will just go back in the other day. |

I think greed is the main reason why a lot of people eventually loses money when they are gambling, it's hard to change a greedy person when they are in dire search of money. Maybe attending seminars for greedy people will eventually help.
Theres no seminars for greedy people but only a psychiatrist for those who are badly affected on gambling addiction.Aiming always for money does really contribute for most people to become a gambling addict because having this kind of aims will really push you to play gambling even more and knowing of being greedy is really a part of human nature which we can really hardly avoid when this thing comes out. There is AA(Alcoholics Anonymous) for those with problems with alcohol so I will not be surprised if there was an association to help gamblers all over the US where they can share their experiences and how they have been affected by gambling addiction. Yes greed is the main reason why all gamblers loose in the end and i think you can not control greed if you are addicted to gambling and easy money. All people who are addicted to gambling wants easy money and that leads them to become greedy and want to become bigtime that easily thats why they can not control it. |

But what hobby do you recommend in replacement of gambling? The excitement and the thrill it can give to someone? I guess the best solution really is just to completely quit gambling and never go back again. Just think of all the money you have wasted on it that you should have used in other things in your life or with your families. |

If we dont bet anymore then there is no point to talk about gambling anymore right. I still think the best is to reduce the bankroll that we use, if we only play with a small amount then there is no way that we could be greedy with it. We will only play for fun when we do it that way and it is going to benefit us more |
