As i know gambling is all about luck and how to control my greed, except sportbetting (of course need skill and strategy).
I have experience in gambling (casino), somtime i hit big only with faucet or free money and i can withdraw from that. but because my greed i always want more and more, then i'll come again with my money as bankroll. Bet more and hope win more, but because of that i'll lose my money little by little and usually i'll stop after my bankroll to be "0". I call that with greed.
Anyone here have any suggestion to control my greed? Let me know.
For simple tips, just play with decent goals and no expectation since the more you expect in winning, the more you tend to play for winning which can cause you to increaase your greediness that can cause you losing a game. I agree with you, never bet more then you can afford to lose. But sometimes it is very hard to stop after you lost money, because you will always try to return the funds you lost from more betting, which can lead you to lose more then you were planned to bet. Stay away from gambling, house always win. |

I agree with you, never bet more then you can afford to lose. But sometimes it is very hard to stop after you lost money, because you will always try to return the funds you lost from more betting, which can lead you to lose more then you were planned to bet. Stay away from gambling, house always win. Honestly speaking this is the truth and the hard truth which most of us cannot accept - I dont know why but still we have to accept it. If you think casinos are made to be like charities where you get money for free then you are surely dreaming. Casinos are made to exploit people's greed and make them suffer for it. If you dont know how to control your temptations then you better not gamble at all because at the end of the day you will end up in a net loss in every EV- game. |

I don't think you can control greed on your own. I would suggest bringing someone with you when you gentle or if it's online have someone watch over your shoulder and give you advice. Maybe they can stop you from betting too wildly. Though there is always the flip side and you win this wild bets. It's very hard to know what to do.
One question is who command yourself? Who decide for yourself? Who thinks for yourelf? And who wants to control greed? I do not believe that you need someone to control your greed. All the decision are made by you. People have only influence to us if we allow them, else we do not care. So the power to control our greed is in our own hands. It is a matter of decision, determination and discipline. If you can decide to not be greedy, determine to do it and discipline yourself and stick to it then I believe you can control your greed on gambling. Yeah I agree with you, we who have control over ourselves and we can certainly eliminate greed by thinking something else, we do not need the role of others to eliminate greed because they can only give us a suggestion but ourselves Who must decide every thing we will do maybe by thinking the potential of loses the money you has got can make you able to control the greed. |

If we are talking about greed related to gambling then that's probably the hardest thing you could do, impossible even, to control yourself or to tell yourself that you might lose or that you should not look to get more i.e greed. If you are able to do that then you are not a gambler in the first place and you are probably playing for pennies. Having someone that can tell you "Hey it's a bit too much now, maybe you should take a break or take out your winnings/cut your losses". That could be very helpful. |

Gambling in not dangerous for every gamblers. It is only lose-full for those gamblers who have no control on their greedy, That's why we are discuss how to control our greedy? If anyone have fully control on it then i will promise that gambling will not be dangerous for them.
Yes it is very dangerous but in the same time you can get money and have fun as well. Well some people like me may not get money when gamble but I can still have fun, that is enough for me . Sometimes people want to get profit but they forget that even when they lose they can still have fun when they play on the casino |

It's somewhat a strategy to get players to still play on their website or something like that, it would make people deposit more and probably make more fail bets to make the casino earn more. I think they have that kind of strategy, it's just that it can be taken advantage of or something, knowing that you get to win some. They might change the game if you bet on a higher amount or something.
The game is not changing but we are changing our mind to think that we still have chance. I dont think that we will have the chance to win because there is always house edge. Even that in a 0 % house edge game, it is still hard to win for someone like me that have bad luck therefore I dont recommend people to bet high amount |
