You can control it by expecting less and appreciating small thing. Same as in gambling. When you expect less winnings, you can control the amount that you will risk. For example when you won a $500 you will stop. Even if you think that it is just a small amount try to appreciate it and you will be happy.

I agree with this one. Even if someone has already set limits of until when he will gamble, there will be times when he will be tempted to continue because of the greediness and it is human nature. The purpose of gambling should be for fun only because if someone has the intention to gamble for money, he will always be tempted to earn more because of that purpose and greediness cannot be controlled. That's not true, there is no such thing as controlling greed. Say you bet 100 times and you win all 100 but then you lose the 101, you would tell yourself that you were greedy and you should have stopped however that's not always the case, in fact you can very easily just lose in your first bet or bets, what would you tell yourself then? I should have not played? You never know when you are going to lose or win, you could stop at your 100 bet not knowing that the next 50 bets were also going to be wins.

Most of them do definitely failed on controlling their-selves specially when the addiction is already severe which you cant really control no matter how hard you think that you should stop.Our minds is the most powerful thing which can really make us stop even some say that having a strong mind will already made you stop but this is really a case to case basis on a certain person since not all people do have the same control.

Alot of people fail to control themselves when they gamble and I dont think that there is anything weird with that. Alot of people fail including me but once in a while we will then remember that we are not going to spend alot of money then we will stop. Although it is great in theory it rarely works in practice. The reason for this is because when you gamble, and you win, and then you lose, it's like you are high on crack.
