If you have more time for the better use that money for day trading because day trading promising better profit with lower risk than ICO . But if you want to invest there, you must first study the ico project. And do not rush to invest your money. Because there are still a lot of scams out there. So study the ico project before investing your money.  Grin Grin

Yes you could invest them in ICOs, ICOs are some of the best areas to invest in  make good money as you get to buy cheap, wait for them to gain value and sell high, its however not as easy as it sounds, you must invest time in researching on good ICOs to invest in, and be very cautious while at it as there are possibilities of getting scammed in the process, Not all ICOs are as legitimate as we would want them to be

Try to invest in ICO! Only part of your wallet. Part leave on for long periods of time! You do not need to invest everything at once! Must be stock!

ICO investment is a venture capital. If it is a good project, then the return is very high, maybe x10 or x100 the initial capital spent is normal. However, there are also scam cases. Therefore, if you are interested in investing then choose carefully ICO such as team development, potential of the project ...

Have you try to invest directly on altcoins, let's say NEO or EOS for example, I'd rather invest on those than on some project that isn't even established like an ICO.

Either you HODL or just invest them in an ICO of your choice. No matter what avenue you place them, you'll eventually get a lot of money after some time because of how much the market behaves nowadays. Just be prepared to incur some minor losses too.

Investing in ICO is always a good choice. but we must be careful not to get to the scammers

don't make a fast decision because you need to know about the project before you invest in the ICO and you need to prepare for something if the ICO is not successful in the future. I agree that we must be careful to select the ICO because in out there, many ICO that can be a scam and just take our money and then run away.

Check Blockshipping.
ICO ongoing.

The blockchain based GSCP platform is the world's first freight container registry and the first global platform allowing all players in the shipping industry to perform a wide range of transactions related to the handling of containers.
The GSCP ICO offers a set of token features including a Revenue Sharing Model as well as a Market Maker Fund that allows ICO contributors to sell their coins back to the platform at a floor price until Blockshipping has met certain fixed milestones.

I took them already for bounty campaign because I want to take as more as possible their tokens. Via bounty and token sale.

Investing in ICOs is riskier than investing in top coins so do your research and invest in high quality ICOs like EOT (aka EON) in my signature.  It has an excellent team with great credentials and a big community following. Check this reddit page for more details:

It is ok to invest in ICO but with extreme caution. You must have a keen and thoroughly investigate to the ICO in case that one is a scam or not. But if you will hit the real one, it still not sure if the price will stay or go further below the ICO price.

Have you gathered specific info on some particular ICO projects of interest?  You might be able to make money by investing in ICOs. But there are substantial risks involved and you should try to approximate the due diligence that a traditional investor would conduct before committing cash to a new project.

If you find a really good ICO, its wort to invest your cryptocurrencies in. But first you need to know about the project. You can good starting point with the project’s announcement (ANN) thread on this forum. And read their whitepaper check their team before investing and check reviews about them around the internet to.

ICO is one of the option for investment but you have to look deeper into it as now there are many ICO that are scam. You have to search for history background of the company, their track records, anything that can convince and assure you to invest to them.

There are always opportunities around to make good investments, if you know, where to look for them... I believe certain many altcoins have a good potential to gain 10-20x, maybe even 100x. Hard to imagine bitcoin gaining 10-20x other than very long term - but a very big maybe. But, for all projects: Do your research, because there are very good ones, but very bad ones too! There is no shortcut to your own work! Don't trust the ICO ratings because they can be bought, and don't trust the most visible projects because it just depend on marketing spend, not on the quality of the project! Look at the substance, the business case, the value of the space they are claiming to take over or "disrupt", the nature of tech to be developed, the business experience of the team (most teams don't have a clue of the underlying business!!! so they can't disrupt anything...)

Recently, I have been following in particular Stellar and Stellar-related tokens. Stellar is on the rise because of the prospective Coinbase listing - probably one of the best bets for 2018. Up by more than 50% from the level a week ago, and it will continue for sure. Price has potential to multiply! Worth looking into tokens issued on the Stellar platform that will also profit from the new rise of Stellar...

There, I found an interesting, solid project, experienced people, with their token issued on the Stellar blockchain: AXU of argentas.io. They seem to have ANN for their community-oriented presale too https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=4431900.0 Financial blockchain, solid idea & white paper, thinking of putting in some. Just too low profile so far, but it definitely is a hidden gem in my opinion.

Of course one has to diversify between tokens, not to put the eggs in one basket, but this one looks to be worth the risk with a very attractive presale price of 0.4 XLM for 1 AXU that is 50% less than their ICO price later, so this 2x gain together with the underlying Stellar price going up, giving a double boost to it, looks to be like a sure winner, gains soon in pocket I believe - and may soon be 5-10x the initial presale price, later on maybe 20x. Following some EOS related projects too along with other Stellar projects, maybe finding some further ones there too. But I am definitely for AXU as an undiscovered diamond - others I like are much more well known - so far... But I like to pick my own things that the others still ignore - I have gained very nicely that way so far Wink

It's a way to make money, but I think you need to have good knowledge of Cryptocurrency. In addition, you need to be good at foreign languages and understand the potential of the Crypto field to evaluate projects and investments. I think investing in ICOs is not an easy job.
If you can afford, you can get rich from investing in ICO. Or you can invest in the altcoins.
