what's happen if ico fails? we will receiving refunds?
Every time a block is mined, a certain amount of BTC (called the subsidy) is created out of thin air and given to the miner. The subsidy halves every four years and will reach 0 in about 130 years.

Generally for those ICOs fail, they will refund, and don't pay the bounties, I have joint so many campaigns without payment. So I keep watching the funding amount, to decide join or not.

IEX project seems attractive i'am in.

as members of the ICO are able to profit in this project, if the development programs will be up in 2019? due to which it will return investment in the project at the initial stage?

the project is really very interesting from the technical side.

Yes, this is the normal way to deal with ICO. Furthermore, let us check the ICO of Golem. Just in 2 hours, Golem reached its upper limit.
In my view, iEx.ec has better academic and technic background, excellent team, they can easily reach the lower limit, and with a great possibility, they will reach upper limit very quickly.
Let us join in.

Investors in BTC and et will be eligible for markers rlk, native markers to the iex.the cloud network of the EU. iex.The EU plans to launch its platform at the end of this year with off-chain computing for distributed applications (DApps).

What is the date of issuance of RLK markers after ICO and when you plan their appearance on the exchange?

Is this like Golem Network? Same cloud computing services that is distributed. So would it differ from other distributed cloud computing network that are already available?

@iEx.ec :
- Love the concept, I am in.
- I would have preferred a lower cap on the total number of tokens.
- I can not agree with the choice of letter font you made for your website/logo (just a personal opinion).
Wishing you all the best! See you at the ICO!

Hi MoneyJ - It is not the same and we will post a blog post today explaining more....

iExec is a new decentralized cloud computing platform that is blockchain-based. A cloud-based network environment connects users to one another, whether server providers, application providers, data providers or end users. All manner of business can be executed on the iExec cloud. Having a decentralized and globally accessible marketplace to trade computing resources will be an invaluable step forward for the cloud computing industry as a whole.

This is taken from Smith and Crown's analysis of Golem:
'The market for Golem is limited to supercomputing which is relatively small. Where CGI rendering is computationally hungry and its scale and frequency is set to grow the market is limited to animators, designers, and architects who might need low-cost rendering options.'

This is one of the giant project, like Golem, but the research on different ways, it means you may be competitor or supplement of Golem. Still a few weeks for the ICO, but I can't wait now.

Thank you all for your comments and questions.

Let me tell you this:

(1) In case of we don't reach the minimum objective, the crowdsale smart contract allows investors to claim refund.

(2) Be sure we'll reach this value within the first days of the campaign.

(3) If I were you, I would take a day off to be there on time: April 12th, 13:00 PM UTC

Is this like Golem Network? Same cloud computing services that is distributed. So would it differ from other distributed cloud computing network that are already available?

In terms of vision, iEx.ec aims at building a blockchain-based distributed Cloud, while Golem aims at building a worldwide supercomputer.

In terms of technology, we benefit from our background in distributed computing.
We developed several software on top of which iEx.ec is being built and those software have already being used to build
distributed computing infrastructures.

In terms of products, we're not addressing the same markets at the same time. iEx.ec is targeting at the first place blockchain-based
applications that require extra data, extra applications and extra compute capacities.

As we understand Golem, they first target HPC (or let's say HTC, High Throughput Computing) using GND as a mean of payment.
The distributed Cloud provided by iEx.ec will enable a larger range of applications, as the iEx.ec network will enable the applications
for which the centralized Cloud is a limiting factor. This includes: blockchain-based applications, IoT +Big Data, distributed machine learning, ambient AI, VR, Edge/Fog computing, smart cities/buildings, etc...

We think that Golem and iEx.ec are somehow both competing against centralized Cloud providers.
So we hope that in the future, there will be enough synergy between the two projects to pool our strengths together.

Hello, can we send btc from an exchange ?

Yes you can.

I'm finishing my "How to join iExec's crowdsale" post. It will be published in the coming hours.

You can make a BTC transaction from any exchange because when you'll click on "payment using Bitcoin", (1) you'll be asked to give a secured Ethereum address, (2) Then we'll display a unique BTC address (generated just for you  Smiley ) to which you can send your transaction, (3) Celebrate the fact that you were able to invest while late folks start to cry because maxcap is already reached.

Disclaimer: I'm part of the team.  Smiley

At least I know all lights are green (including crypto markets analysis, amazing team work, vision shared by millions of people, businesses already asking us how to use the infrastructure).
