When can we expect to see some running code? Read something about a first presentation in November... is this true?

Hi guys, is it worth to invest? I see they are active (i.e. hiring people: http://iex.ec/?p=1075 ) so it seems they are really working and operational. I think it may be a long-term investment?

May help if you don't want to read the white paper.

True, Dana Edwards' post definitely helps.  Smiley

Quote
Why I sold all my Golem tokens for iEx.ec
My confidence in iEx.ec continues to rise. As a result I have sold 100% of my Golem tokens to buy iEx.ec and below in this post I will explain some of my reasoning behind my decision.

IEx.ec so far in my opinion is doing everything right. They have a dream team of developers who are top researchers with doctorate degrees in the specific areas of research necessary for distributed cloud computing. They have an excellent middleware with code already written called XtremWeb-Hep. This middleware is well made and in my estimation will reduce development time to 3 months minus any time spent testing. So from this we know they have the expertise, the code, but of course business is more than just having the code.

Is there any negative news about RLC? It's seems to be crashing in Bittrex.

I get a bit a sceptical when projects try to brag themselves up by comparing with other projects. Especially when the comparison is as disfavourable to the competitors as SONM's is.

In their table they claim that SONM has this, which the iEx.ec and Golem doesn't:

Anti-fraud
Game servers support
Site hosting
Services
SaaS
Non-determenistic tasks
Container protection
Container validation
Load balancer
Service locator
Data stream & pipeline
Nodejs application-service support

In both iEx.ec and SONM:

Hybrid P2P

In both Golem and SONM:
Messages API
Fog-computation

Weirdly enough they included one thing that none of them has:

Distributed in-memory cache service

---------------------

My questions for the RLC community are: What is your response to this list? Are there features, not on this list, which have been deliberately left out because SONM doesn't have them? In which field does RLC specialise as compared to Golem and SONM? Are you direct competitors or do you have different nieches?

Please excuse me for not having a perfect insight into the concepts of cloud computing as I deliberately stay away from getting too deep into the technological differences between coins. I am going to invest into one of the projects, but I have not decided which one yet.

The best way to understand differences is reading white paper, some parts aren't too technical.

Similar projects developers point out differences in there own advantage of course.

Lamborghini and Bentley make nice cars, but it's easy for each of them to point out differences.

Probably some guy decided to move on to the next project this happens in crypto, if you ask I think the price will be back to 40k soon.

The ICO of this project was successful, right? But it's still possible to do some work and get paid for it, I mean if there are some campaigns? Unfortunately, at the time they launched this project I was absent.
