In the sense of philosophy and religion that is meant is a transcendental reality that is not the same as the usual reality. If the word of eternity is applied to the divine nature, then it is not enough just the sense as an extension of time that it ends without end. Divine Eternity is an existence that is without beginning and endless, and has no change or sequence in time. Divine immortality is beyond the dimension of time.

Immortaliy is eternity which is after death. No human being will go into immortality without tasting death because every human is flesh and flesh can not live immorally

Immortality, i think its impossible because there is a word thous things are born it must be destroy one day. In the solar system there is no thing sustainable. so i think immortality is impossible.

I think it's a double-edged sword. You may have eternal life, but all the friends and loved ones you gain, you will also eventually lose, and you would have to go through that pain forever.

Mortality is based on the biological limits assigned to human beings if you eliminate these limitations immortality can be achieved,  Immortality can be talked of in a way of science fiction by freezing a body too low temperatures when that happens they will live for an extended period of time,

All will die, no one will live forever. Death in my example is not the last moment of life, which certainly awaits us ahead, but nothingness. Grin Grin

As long as earth remained one everyone will die but what we should be asking ourselves is if we die, where are we going to spend our eternity..

Wouldn't mind immortality as long as wasn't just a copy. I would want it to be actually me. Seems a bit selfish on my part I'm sure.

Every creature must should die. Because we all are well known that God's create us and declared that we must should die.

I think immortality is a term of living. I don't tell it's quite impossible but I think man can lives for thousands of year only because of his good works..
We all have dies but our works never days people will remember us only for our kind work.

What do you think about immortality? Will people find immortality in the future?
Is it possible to transfer a digital copy of the brain to a computer environment?

I hope they do in 20years max so I can live forever and do things more slowly.  Grin

Immortality in this world is not possible, and I do not think it ever will. Digital immortality, however, now that may be possible. I am not sure about how or if having a digital copy of our brains to a computer is going to be achievable, but it is most definitely interesting and would like to see if for myself.

People that have that kind of money can easily invest in research. We, the regular people, can just hope and wait

Did you hear about the CRISP technology? It is a means to change specifics parts of cells'DNA and may be the first step to immortality. We do not know what science will produce next but I am convinced that immortality is possible.

Immortality is a blessing if you have it and also a curse at the same time.
