The reason why people do not get Bitcoin.

Bitcoin is totally new to them and they don't know how to use it or earn it and that is major drawback and as a newbie its but obvious that they will not understand the technicality of bitcoins and would find it irritating or confusing but that mentality can be changed if they are guided in a proper way.

It depends the country. In most countries bitcoin isn't illegal, they can use it normally, they know it and don't use anyway. Why?
I don't know why, but they look don't have interest in crypto currencies, I think many persons think bitcoin is a dangerous method of earn money, a ponzi scheme or something that is just an illusion. Unfortunatelly they aren't interested in bitcoins yet, but one day they will.

Let them believe what they want, they will not gonna earn anyway. I mean, this is a risky game if we can call it a game, hence, it is important that we should be willing to take the risk and believe in bitcoin. I love to hear that most of the countries are not taking bitcoin as a serious threat, I have the same experience in my country as well, bitcoin is not legal nor illegal here so I can use it freely.

People are hesitating to get one because of obviously the lack of awareness. How can they buy something if they don't know it?

And the second one is the lack of information. Some people including the ones I know are still getting the wrong idea that it is

illegal. Apparently they base it in the article about black markets and they won't bother search for more information. So the

information should come naturally like TV commercials, Radio etc.

People don't necessarily have to buy bitcoins since they we can earn it for free from stuffs like signature campaign, faucets (just an example, not worth the discussion), etc.

The problem is that no one would be funding TV commercials or radio commercials. I'm pretty sure they won't just accept the advertisement because bitcoin is a threat to the government and the government controls the media.

Lack of information is not a problem at all in this information age. Just like most people say, ignorance is a choice. You can search literally any question that you have about bitcoins and still end up having thousands of relevant results.

Bitcoin, being as it is..is more of a currency then a stock...a currency that wildly fluctuates...is what scares people. No one really goes outside their comfort zone and gets involved in the forex market, its all about stocks and mutual funds, ones that are sold to them by major banks, something people are accustomed too.

Newbies needed a people who trains or teach them and explain to them how bitcoins works and what is the benefit of it, maybe other people doesn't interested on bitcoin because no one explaining it how good and how profitable it is and what are the benefits of bitcoins to the people who needs an extra income.

The sad thing is the wrong information was/is being provided through social media. It is full of scams, fake hyip and other website that are linked for your facebook to be hacked. This things should be stopped if we want people to really understand what bitcoin's purpose is. They just see illegal transactions through it so why join or get a part of the pie.

Yeah I guess other then bitcoin..the altcoin/cryptocurrency market has taken quite the huge hit, in a news article, coinmarketcap stated that about 40% of all coins added have become inactive..thats a lot and seeing as it takes bitcoin to purchase these alt coins, many people who have purchased bitcoin have lost heavy because they decided to get involved and start trading, and have lost most of their initial investments in scams, phoney ico's and devs who have literally just stopped.

One reason is that older people are afraid of what is new, and therefore of technology. Here in Brazil people are afraid to use internet banking or even an ATM (seriously) to pay their bills. The "internet generation" has a more open mind for new things, I think they should be the focus. Old people will not believe in Bitcoin until the presentation of the TV news says that this is reliable (in general).

Also, most people like something we hate: third parties. People in general like to have whom they blame if the money was stolen and are not ready to take care of their own money.

hahaha you are so right about third parties...in bitcoin there is no one else to blame other then yourself. Lose your wallet//password//don't backup or send a wrong transaction or even to the wrong address, and your out of your money, gone forever. I guess that would a major step for bitcoin.. achieve centralization but in reality be de centralized

I have only one and valid reason and that is lack of information about bitcoin. Because majority of that kind of people who don't use the bitcoin, Because they don't know about any crypto currencies. Even in my country only 1% people know about it. Otherwise bitcoin is great and superb technology,.

Even if then you know already about bitcoin it will hard to explain to other people later

But the reality when you face someone ask you deeply about how to get bitcoin , how about the proccess and why makes you feel dumb.

We can show them the easiest way to get bitcoin and that is from signature campaign and if they have capital and don't want to spend time on the forum then they can be shown how to buy bitcoins and store them in a wallet and if things are kept simple then I am sure they won't hesitate in getting into bitcoins.

No, in the beginning we cannot show how to obtain a bitcoin.
First, we must give lessons what is bitcoin, advantages and disadvantages of bitcoin,etc.
I think it would make it easier for them to understand that.

I really see bitcoin being "taken" over in the future in order for it to be more adopted by the general public. People like being able to get their questions answered by people who are going to be around for the next round of questions the day, week, or year after.

That's why it is called decentralization, we don't need someone to manage bitcoin and we like the system that's why we patronize it. It is true that we cannot please everyone as only those who are willing to be part of the change will be able to adopt bitcoin. We cannot deny the fact that only few of the people are risk takers and we are those people.

Yes, they are loosing much in their life by staying away from bitcoin. The only thing that would be is either they totally dont know about bitcoin or they know about it a little, but scared of investing in it.For people in second category, they can me made to adopt bitcoin easily. For people of first category, much have to be done.Retailers must be explained about bitcoin and its benefit that once transaction is processed, it cant be refunded.If they start accepting bitcoin payment, we could surely feel the change.

I believe It's because people are not so familiar when it comes to cryptocurrency, and of course when buying a bitcoin it involves money and when people exchange something for money they really make sure that its something they needed or wanted , How can people  buy something that they didn't even know ? Some people see it as a scam but Informing them about bitcoin would likely help me them embrace the bitcoin technology

Some people want to earn mony in the form of currency not coin due to exchanging process so they do not get bitcoin.

In my view, the main reason is that many countries's people don't know about bitcoin. Not about only bitcoin even they don't know about any crypto currencies. Also when people know about it than they have no trust on crypto currency on first time. It is time taking work but i believe in future bitcoin will be get more opportunities.

First bitcoin were promoted as an amazing investing that lead into a big bubble over bitcoin making several people loose money when price fail, since then there arent real news about bitcoin value at all, it were connected to dark marketplace. The people doesnt know bitcoin, and isnt very popular at the moment, just a few people inside crypto world, countries in general doesnt support bitcoin soo a big wall between bitcoin and people.

I think it's because they usually try to gamble it and try to double their bitcoins. Some didn't plan to do it but the temptation is always there for people in the bitcoin world as it is extremely easy to enter and actually entices people of unimaginable wealth which they don't actually get in the end.
