Just a heads up the migration from Slack to Discord has begun.  Here is a link to the general channel where you will get verified to gain access to a spam free verified channel:  https://discord.gg/HF6vEGF

A screenshot of the reason why:

Hope to see you all filter your way over as Ubiq transitions to this platform.  An official announcement will be made upon the completion of this task and would be tweeted I would imagine.  Slack is currently still the defacto place for news, updates and help so you may want to hang tight for a bit before deleting your account.

Woo!

UBQ(bittrex) phishing for users "pics" ==>

Aaron - Today at 3:04 AM
Verified

You can request to be #verified in the #general channel. this allows us to see who is a community member
a) mention your user name from Slack
b) only people with a profile pic get Verified
c) once Verified, you are then added to the private #verified channel and other previously hidden channels

phishing is wrong julian!!

The transition to Discord is going quite well. Takes a little bit of adjustment, but most of the features from Slack are in Discord, and there's the added benefit of having additional features! Yesterday a group of about 15 users had a voice conversation regarding some things that Julian and others are working on adding to the bot inside Discord.

Communication tools are definitely important for community driven projects but what would be the driving factor behind using Ubq versus eth at this point besides gas cost? I'm currently setting a few of my rigs on ubq but my question is just to get a guage on the relevance Ubq may have for teams considering using it to build on. I'm considering building a token within Ubq as well so some bullet points on why people should use this Blockchain vs. eth/etc/neo is helpful.

IMO~the epic pre-mine makes all the difference..not to mention the stolen cryptsy coins(JBS) that went directly into the devs pockets.  Roll Eyes

We are changing to a reworked version of the pool list backend soon, data sources already got a central repo for issues, suggestions and pull requests:

https://github.com/minerpoolnet/pools

For the miners, the Pool List remains on the known url:

https://minerpool.net/pools/ubiq/

And if you have some free hashpower to share, we have a ubiq pool too:

http://ubiq.minerpool.net/

Cheers

Chris

Hi together,
Our reworked pool lists are online now.

- sorting of all fields works now as it should
- several bugs were cleanded out of the pool fault detection
- sorting of dead pools and pools with problems is lowered down now
- country detection got a manual override for cases where the hoster gives the wrong country for an ip-address
- data sources are in a central repo now, where the pools can pull request changes and all can open Issues (github.com/minerpoolnet/pools)

https://minerpool.net/pools/ubiq/

Cheers

Chris

I see some haters/fake users accounts to make bad comments about UBQ, to make the price going down, then they collect UBQ as much as they can. They are whale.
If they don't cafe, they won't come here to talk.
Fk off, haters. Cheesy Wink Cool

agreed. holding for future.

Hi All I see great opportunity with this coin but price is going down continuously can any one help me
When we are expecting the price to go up ?
Is there any road map ?
Why the price will go up ?
What price to expect in 6 months
What price to expect in 12 months
What price to expect in 18 months

I am pretty sure that application has been sent but like other exchanges and services UBQ asks all those interested do the same and fill out a coin addition form. Services like Shapeshift, Changelly, Poloniex and Coinomi etc... would be great additions.
