I went into detail during my presentation today (edited)
tl;dr, it solves 2 big problems.

1) securing handling biometrics. The current way of doing things (storing data in centralized databases) is a really bad mix with biometrics. IF you CC info or password gets leaked, you can replace/reset easily. If your biometrics gets leaked. rekt. signum solves that by essientualy being a hardware wallet for your biometrics.

 2) it links your physical identity with a blockchain based identity, without requiring a 3rd party.
2 pilot programs will be beta testing the signum devices starting early 2018. more info about these is in the august quarterly

Just Wondering... Waves has a gateway to store Eth, Litecoin, Zcash and Bitcoin on Waves along with many other assets that are strictly Waves based.  Can UBIQ down the road do the same? It would
be great for exposure for this platform if you can store Waves, Eth, Litecoin, Zcash and Bitcoin on the UBIQ blockchain if one wished to do so.  Maybe this is not what UBIQ is intended for,
it was merely a thought. Anyways good luck with the coming 2018 year! I have been a long time UBIQ holder and don't plan on selling anytime soon.  I bought back on the first or second day of market release on Bittrex.
I can't remember.
Anyways, again good luck!

I had my account hacked due to a weak password I was told. It has be re-secured and a stronger password implemented. Hacker was posting malware links using my account. Always use a very strong password.

bittrex is locking accounts and doxxing it's users ~ I hope you think long and hard about what is important to you :\ ~it's obviously not core bitcoin values.

You won’t find many cryptocurrencies this undervalued with such a strong offering. The Ubiq team has some very experienced people working on this project and have put stability and transparency at the heart of what they do. What is refreshing about this project is the focus on real world applications before mass marketing, which will be a key for any project to survive long term. Very skilled and experienced Dev team - Helpful and Active Community - Stable - Uses for the REAL world - No ICO or Pre-Mine - High upside potential

Looks like an amazing project, noticed it because dot, geo mentioned it. When I tried to start the wallet it says "ubiq node connection error". searching that phrase in quotes on Google it only comes up twice. Going to the first link https://www.reddit.com/r/Ubiq/comments/72s61c/cannot_access_my_fusion_wallet/ there are two people who mention the problem. One a couple months ago and one 3 hours ago. So it is a rare problem, until today when at least two people have it.
Any suggestions?

Thanks to everyone for sharing useful info on ubiq. I started to mine ubiq a week ago mainly because someone I follow on Youtube recommends it. Now I started really learning more about this coin.
