If it is true as you mentioned here that the bitcoin developer’s team has promised to install bitcoin ATM machines then there will be no problem for restaurants to accept bitcoin as their payments. And it is also in favor of bitcoin because more and more people will see the importance and usability of bitcoin in normal places. It should prevail all over the world except big countries.

This is no doubt a very good step and it will bring more awareness to all those who don’t know about bitcoin. Though things are not working in a way that we want to happen but still I am very much positive that it will be possible in most of the countries in near future. In fact, it will not only be the restaurants but so many other places as well where we can use bitcoin.

I'm wondering how this restaurant handles the problem of long transactions. After all, when the network is overloaded, the transaction can remain unconfirmed for several hours. A visitor can not be so much in a restaurant

That's what I've been thinking too, I can't even imagine if the transaction is being delay because of the confirmation would take long. Perhaps, their data connection could be has a strong internet to there area.

The price of the bitcoin is increasing and more people are using the bitcoin and they are accepting the bitcoin for the cost of the bitcoin. I would like to buy the pizza and the things like the things with the bitcoin. The investors are investing in the bitcoin to get the more knowledge about the bitcoin and they will buy the things they want only through the bitcoin.

It is good for us that bitcoin is accepted many countries shopes, restaurants,also many other places.So in future, I think, bitcoin is acceptable everywhere in the whole univee.

In order for Bitcoin to spread in every country, we also need to do a few things. I wish the shops and businesses in each country accept Bitcoin, but there is a negative attitude towards Bitcoin. It is our choice to break this negative prejudice.

People who have negative attitude towards bitcoin will surely regret in future for not getting into bitcoins at the right time and many people who didn't show any interest into bitcoins in the past have now started to take notice of bitcoins after price has started to increase and now even they have started to invest their money in bitcoins and even in future we will see many new investors getting into bitcoins for sure.

It will be very worthy and accomplished step if the restaurants will start accepting bitcoins, as the knowledge of bitcoin is increasing in a wide network. Sometimes people  dont have cash in hand, accepting bitcoins will be a comfort way for them . Accepting bitcoins in shops and restaurants will be a good way to promote bitcoin in the market and to have a great success in the future.

That's a very nice project, but I was very disappointed to find out that there are no nearby restaurants in my area that accept bitcoins.

It's not like I am searching for it because I have nothing to do with my bitcoins, I do it because I think that the more you use the coin the more you support it and the more it's value will go up.
I also think that paying with bitcoins is much more cool then paying with credit card!
Anyway I hope that soon enough more and more restaurants will start seeing bitcoin as an accepted currency.

I'm living in Vietnam and after long time to wait finally there is one restaurant in my country accept Bitcoin and some other altcoins like ETH, XMR for payment ) I'm very excited when I can find it out in my country cause I think that Bitcoin is not legalized in my country so it's impossible to find out a shop or restaurant that accept Bitcoin in my country but I'm wrong, I found it . Using different cryptocurrency in payment will be difficult specially if fiat money continuously changes. I think bitcoin will be suited to it because it is the common currency we usually use just like dollars. And theres a lot of mobile wallet that are available today. We should take this step by step.

You should not worry about that yet. Adoption is gradually increasing worldwide and I am sure everyone is already seeing the manifestation of that. A time will come when you will have between so many different cryptocurrencies to pay with and not just only bitcoin in your country. The fact that some countries are already taking that step now is even a more positive gear towards more adoption by other countries.

I paid once in btc in a restaurant from Spain.  There arent many that accept though,  I have seen only like 4 or 5.

You're lucky to find a restaurant that receives bitcoin in your country. because not all countries can have this opportunity. indeed for me there is no bond if the use of bitcoin is prohibited somewhere, bitcoin has online system so we can do any bitcoin transaction provided we have internet connection. everyone is currently very easy to get the service. where I live today is BALI has found many places that receive bitcoin, there are several restaurants, travel agents and even 5 star hotels that have received bitcoin. This proves that when the state supports bitcoin the development of bitcoin will grow rapidly. we just wait until many countries will determine his attitude towards the use of bitcoin. I am very supportive if there is a country that supports bitcoin and applying bitcoin in the daily life of its citizens.

I think this situation goes two ways.

1) Bitcoin being accepted in restaurants will help the latter attract more customers because of its payment flexibility which can process all money transactions with the use of smartphones. I believe this a very wise way of enticing customers especially with the likes of tech savvy or what they refer to as the millenials.

2) In a way, it also adds to the popularity of Bitcoins!

It will most definitely attract more customers most especially bitcoin enthusiasts in a country where bitcoin is getting much adopted already. Even if it was never a very common restaurant, news travel very fast and most of the bitcoin fans will often want to pay visit to see how their bitcoin can actually be of more use in the real life.

That won't stop there, generating more interest via the bitcoin payment will gear interest as well for the restaurant even from those who would want to know more about bitcoin or has been hearing news about it.

I was disappointed that this is only in the US but I hope that one of my countryman will have a concept like this. So it's easy for me to pay in a restaurant, that I don't have to worry to bring my physical money. Or maybe someday if I have the money and skills I'll try a business like this in my own. Wow! Now things are even getting more interesting as the day goes by. Lucky you man! And in years to come, we will start seeing so many like this until it becomes a norm in almost all countries.

The fact that your country has not declared it legal for general use and for those who would wish to make use of it as payment does not make it illegal. They haven't just declared their stance yet on it.
However, with so many of this development going on, it will compel them to realize there is a lot they are missing. Now, imagine country like Vanuatu already collecting BTC for citizenship.
