Have you tried going to places and get hungry but you have no cash available with only bitcoins in your smartphone. Here are the list of bitcoin accepting restaurants that will feed your stomach with delicious cooking in exchange for bitcoins. This is a sign that bitcoin is truly amazing that even restaurants and pizza stores have seen its value and started to include in its payment options. Check the list on this link: http://bitcoinrestaurants.net/

It would be nice if you mentioned in your title and/or description that this was only for USA. Otherwise, looks great Cheers.

As far as I know in my country there are no restaurants who accept Bitcoin. As far as I know there are some cafes and bakeries but that is also something for a start. But during the tourist season lot of tourists are asking for the places where they can pay for the food or drink with Bitcoin, so this will have to change in the future.

I havent encountered any restaurants in my country that accept bitcoins since it is not regulated by my country as of yet. Other than people in this forum, I dont think anyone even knows about bitcoins much. I try to educate people around me and have tried some dealers to accept bitcoins but in vein.

Yeah its a pity that it is only US restaurants that are showing, there are restaurants all over the world now who are accepting bitcoins for payment. there is even a gardener in N Ireland who accepts it for garden maintenance services.

And congratulations to US that they have so many restaurants and shops accepting bitcoins but in my country there is no shop which accepts bitcoins as payment according to me. However, I hope that more and more people accepts bitcoin which will lead the bitcoin price up. I would love to use bitcoin on any shop

Btw, there's a tab that users can add a btc restaurant, so I hope in the future this will not only be exclusive for USA-restos. It would be a great help for customers who are crypto-aficionados!

well I never! Apparently there are some (not loads, but still..) places you can get food and drink for BitCoin in the UK http://www.wheretospendbitcoins.co.uk/category/food-and-consumablesIncluding a village shop, a butchers and even a farm shop! Last time I went to a farm shop they looked at my Visa debit card with suspicion.

I like the tagged of one the restaurant:
"Bitcoin prices are volatile and will likely change by the time you eat!" - meaning you are like converting your bitcoin into fiat.
Yeah right. Once you entered the door and walked to the cashier, bitcoin price can experienced a huge price increase and decrease movement. Even the duration of while you are ordering from the menus and at the time the cashier press that punch, the price is likely to move for a wide range.
It's just been regretting if after the cashier's punch, the bitcoin price went down, hence the amount of orders in fiat value should be less.

If you remember the name of the restaurant then you can google it and finds its number on internet and you can call them to know either they accepts bitcoin or not. And also you will know that the restaurant is still there or closed.

I've heard of a network of restaurants in Holland accepting bitcoins. This happened a few years ago, and when it happened, there was a lot of hype and it was probably one of the reasons that made Bitcoin's price increase a lot at that time.

I don't see any restaurant in my country accepting BTC so good for the US citizen. California businesses are more open to using bitcoin. Businesses should really be into bitcoin and I think the website developer should introduce the use of bitcoin to the rest so they can start accepting BTC too. If business are going online where clients can order their product via filling p a form, a Bitcoin or any other alt payment can at least be added as option sort for standard for crypto users.

It would be very nice to take a trip outside without a massive wallet in your pocket and with just your mobile phone then you would be hungry and think of a place to eat and would pay using your hard earn bitcoin, that is certainly great and I think in the U.S. there are a lot of restaurants that are accepting bitcoin so sad that my country does not have even 1 restaurant that accepts bitcoin!

Yeah, me too. I read about the Den Haag (the Hague) Bitcoin boulevard where you could spend Bitcoins everywhere! It sounded great until I got there, and couldn't find anywhere that accepted Bitcoin! It turned out that one vegetarian restaurant that wasn't open every day accepted Bitcoin, so we went there on our 2nd evening, but a Bitcoin haven it was not! Berlin wasn't much better (another Bitcoin haven), though I have managed to buy food there using Bitcoin.
