Is anyone working with any of the exchanges to get this listed?

I think its a little too early for an exchange.

The supply is very low for an exchange right now and there are many bugs that need to be worked out first with the code.

Hopefully before an exchange we can get a pool to make mining fair for everybody and with a pool you get to use that faster stratum miner.

PMing OC now, haha! He already has a pascal pool, so i guess it wouldn't be much to pull up another.  😀

I already asked a while ago, I don't think he is interested.

My advice is don't mine with the newer PascalMiner 0.2. For some reason you can't find any blocks with it or you find very little compared to the older proxy miner by Volks. Either that or I just got extremely bad luck within the last 24 hours/

But you can only mine with the older R9 280X / 290 / 270x GPUs with that program.

How do you run the 2nd rig using the volks miner? Will the proxyjar in the 2 rig fetch/send data outside of the wallet?. The miners will have the same name, wouldn't that be a problem?

I just use the proxy on every machine, easier that way but you can probably point to your main proxy on the other rigs, I haven't tried.

If you do this keep in mind you might run out of noonces and resubmit the same work if there are too many workers on each proxy since it splits the work among the server.

I see. you run different wallet on each machine. I wonder if nvidia is run that same way.

Yeah I couldn't get it to work the other way, it was too much configuring with the routers and firewalls so I just put a wallet on each rig.

Alright so looks like the large farms have moved on to some other coin and difficulty is low enough for a few GPUs to mine and find blocks.

Since I have managed to find a bunch of blocks in the past 24 hours, I will be introducing bounties to help get this coin off the ground.

Since there was no premine I couldn't offer any bounties for any type of work however now that has changed.

I am looking for personnel who can do any of the following

Experienced Developer (I Probably can't afford this one)
ANN Designer (Fix the first post with more info and graphics)
Node Hosting
Pool
Exchange
Block Explorer
Website

Keep in mind, you will only be paid in PASCAL LITE coins. These coins currently hold no value and if it never gets listed on any exchange you will be working for free.

I can throw up a node... no bounty needed.  😀

EDIT: Setting up an AWS and Google Cloud instance now.. Just run the wallet, making sure I port forward the port needed?  Anything else special?

With AWS you need to go to your Security Groups and create a custom TCP Rule to allow 4004 any IP (0.0.0.0) Inbound
Add the PascalLite Program to your Windows Firewall

Then just run the program and should be good, also let me know the IP address and I will add it to the DNS seed nodes for the next wallet release.

However for now the other wallets should detect it as a server node and it should relay the blockchain.

The free tier t2.micro is sufficient so far.

Node is up and running... 35.165.16.168

I see

Server IP:35.165.16.168:4004 Last connection: 2/11/2017 2:16:45 Last server connection: 2/11/2017 2:15:00 Last attempt to connect: 2/11/2017 2:11:23 (Attempts: 3)

Are your inbound connections allowing port 4004? Did you add to Windows Firewall ?

Doesn't want to act like a server for some reason.

Alright I guess it takes a while to connect to other clients.

Maybe in a few minutes it will eventually connect

Yeah with my older GPUs like the 7970/280x.

I can't use the Volks miner with my RX so for those I used 0.2

My advice is don't mine with the newer PascalMiner 0.2. For some reason you can't find any blocks with it or you find very little compared to the older proxy miner by Volks. Either that or I just got extremely bad luck within the last 24 hours/

But you can only mine with the older R9 280X / 290 / 270x GPUs with that program.

The 0.2 miner seems to work for me, so perhaps you just had a run of bad luck. You're making up for it now though.       Wink

It's fun mining blocks - any blocks - even more fun somehow if they are not worth much, not a biz. Takes me back to 2011. Ya never know.

For me it also works but the amount of blocks it finds is only 25% of what my other rigs , which are also the same speed. Maybe the reported speed isn't accurate. No idea

Are you using the proxy miner by Volks?

Yeah with my older GPUs like the 7970/280x.

I can't use the Volks miner with my RX so for those I used 0.2

hmmm, can't seem to figure out how to get it to work with the wallet isn't on the same computer.  I've got an RX480 rig that I will continue to use v0.2, but was going to try the proxy miner on my R9 290 rig..  Anyone successfully get it connected to a wallet on another pc?

I just noticed some valid blocks were rejected according to the 0.2 miner. I'll switch back to Volks' miner based on that and on your experience. The 0.2 miner seemed to be OK for the original coin too, but Polo happened before I really got much time with it.

I can't do formal testing right now, so it's all seat of the pants stuff.
