Each block is stacked on top of the previous one. Adding another block to the top makes all lower blocks more difficult to remove: there is more "weight" above each block. A transaction in a block 6 blocks deep (6 confirmations) will be very difficult to remove.

The following scenario of the first spike: PASC goes to $10 mil cap & PASL reaches $2 mil cap, seems possible.

You know it takes 20 confirmations to show in Cryptopia? Around 2 hours.

You need to specify an -epool and -ewal to mine Ethereum (or EXP or ETC)  You only have commands for solo mining Pascal. Claymore miner isn't a solo miner for PASCAL/PASL it is a dual miner.

Cheaper to buy coins right now than to mine. Hashrate is getting really high.

Reason why these coins are cheaper to buy then solo mine is due to the dual miner out for it. For most its like "free money" so even though its unprofitable to mine they do it anyways since it doesn't slow down their ETH speed.

Good thing about this is that it keeps the hashrate high and network secure. Especially since the hashrate is starting to get evenly distributed between the 2 pools.

Only 34 miners on Fairpool. Basically been the same for a couple days. Just someone keeps waiting for the diff to drop and then rents a lot of hash power on nice hash. I've been watching it for a few days now and have been seeing what they are doing.

Yes in the future we will change the retarget factor to prevent this from happening.
