Why this coin has such high price? It doesnt offer anything special. Or functional? It is just mining for the sole purpose of it. The dev is like 1min a month dedication to it? It should be 0.000000001 sat price IMP (not trying to fud but to many coins without purpose...)

Thanks for your expert opinion.  Maybe perhaps his time is dedicated to his coin that has a million dollar market cap and hundreds of thousands of dollars in volume. If you were a savvy investor you'd realize this and be looking into this coin and the algo prior to him rededicating time to the project. You can even mine it, I personally mine Biblepay and HUSH though.

Well I think the price is where it is as people like myself are buying this coin as a speculative position as we have seen what the dev has done with his other project RAIN. Now I'm hoping that once the dev is finished working on RAIN and is happy with it that he then turns his attention over the Boat and start working on it like he is currently doing with RAIN. Right now the price is around the 20 sats range and I have been buying and mining this coin for a while now only because if the dev does what he has done with RAIN it could be a huge payday! Look at the ones who put in $100 into RAIN when it was around 30 to 50 sats, they have made a huge profit just from the price rise let along what they earned from staking RAIN.

I agree my friend, the best thing people can do is mine/stake and buy Boat as this will be a great long term coin. Right now no one really knows what the plans will be for Boat but we know the dev is a great person and is dedicated to work hard on his projects just like he is doing with Rain. Now is the best opportunity to stack as many Boat as people can while the mining is easy and the price is low. mine/stake/buy and repeat the process.

Yes masternodes might be a great feature for this coin as Rain is already like a masternode coin with its random staking rewards being as good as a masternode. And yes if the dev does implement masternodes here we will see the price shoot up for sure as the price is pretty cheap at the moment.

I actually think he will be open to the idea as it seems like he might implement masternodes for Rain. I actually think Rain should remain as it is and have masternodes for Boat instead but we shall see what he decides for both his coins.

On another note, I loaded up on some more Boat today as I want to accumulate as many as I can for the future, in case masternodes are implemented here.

I think the same, implementing masternodes for boat is better due to 5% APR, Rain is good as it is now.

No I don't believe there is a bootstrap for Boat however it shouldn't take all that long to sync up with the network as the coins is only around 6 months old.

Yes we can still mine Boat up until ,block 700k and then mining will finish and it will be pure POS and hopefully once we are just POS the dev implements masternodes.

Is the mining part also located on the same wallet download? Is there like a how to link? Maybe someone can help teach me how to mine doubloons.

I think @iTradeChips thought that RAIN is dev previous project but as far as I know BOAT was the first and after this one he launched RAIN which indeed was/is a success. We hope he will do a great job with this one too, but unfortunately I didn't saw him too active in here. Maybe this will change in the near future.

Yes he makes profitable coins I have made nice amounts with his coins. He should be more active though and bring back the boat twitter campaign. Even without promotion the coin is doing so well. I have no regrets with it, it was the right choice ?

I think Dev as the first thing to grow the boat is to look for another exchange, such as CryptoPia or even Livecoin.
After a boat is listed in one of these, or even both, then it will have the volume and strength enough to grow.
And then dev can also implement masternode!

I agree that Boat needs to get listed on other exchanges, Cryptopia would be a good start to help increase volume and also help with getting this coin out into the public eyes. A lot of people look on Cryptopia for small cap coins which Boat is at the moment so it could be a great way to get more people into Boat. Right now its the hidden gem which no one really knows about except for some of us here. I also think masternodes would be great for Boat instead of Rain but it seems the dev is going to implement masternodes for Rain even though I don't think it needs them but I believe Boat does once POW is finished.

I don't know what going on but suddenly my miner stops working. Now every time I start to mine BOAT it stop after 5 minutes. I try several versions of ccminer with the same results.
